Stevie's Johns0n Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Alright I love this guy but don't you think his retirement run is a little too long? He'll be bcak again... maybe he'll stick around long enought now so we can see him in another 7 years at Buffalo... haha
DrDawkinstein Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 and the now the Packers definitely wont make the playoffs again
Tux of Borg Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Alright I love this guy but don't you think his retirement run is a little too long? He'll be bcak again... maybe he'll stick around long enought now so we can see him in another 7 years at Buffalo... haha I like the guy but he really needs to hang it up.
DC Mom Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Being paid millions a year to have a good time? It would be tough for me to walk away from that.
DrDawkinstein Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 i wonder if he's after the career INT record? or just enjoys hampering any sort of future development for the Packers in general?
RayFinkle Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 This is GREAT news for Bills fans. Favre will knock Marino out of the #1 all time TD pass mark this season. Viva la Favre!
Ramius Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 This is GREAT news for Bills fans. Favre will knock Marino out of the #1 all time TD pass mark this season. Viva la Favre! He should break both the all-time TD and all time INT records this year. I think he needs 6 TD's to break the record.
stuckincincy Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Alright I love this guy but don't you think his retirement run is a little too long? He'll be bcak again... maybe he'll stick around long enought now so we can see him in another 7 years at Buffalo... haha He's like some of my relatives...takes a mule to dislodge 'em.
yall Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I wish we would play them again this year. But at the same time, I'd hate Aaron Schobel to have a guilty conscience for assaulting an elderly person.
BuffaloWings Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I like the guy but he really needs to hang it up. At least he didn't wait until April to tell everyone.
eball Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 This is GREAT news for Bills fans. Favre will knock Marino out of the #1 all time TD pass mark this season. Viva la Favre! That was exactly my first thought. Anything that gets Marino out of the record books is a-ok with me!
Captain Hindsight Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 At least he didn't wait until April to tell everyone. Farve is imortal in Green Bay he could be 50 say he wants to come back and the'd sign him and he start next week. im not surprised at all
buckeyemike Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I think this will be his last year...but it's tough to walk away from $11 million a year until 2009.
generaLee83 Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 I think this will be his last year...but it's tough to walk away from $11 million a year until 2009. I agree completely. Kind of funny to think how that 11 million could be spent on FA or developing younger players though. I bet they won't make the playoffs again this year.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Great, now we'll be subject to more nationally televised Packer games. "But...but...we have to make Packers/Lions the Sunday night game this week. It might be Favre's last game at Lambeau Field!" We've been through "Favre's potential final home game" three or four times now. Nobody cares anymore!
dave mcbride Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 seeing the snide cut-down jokes here from the cynics here is kinda sad. for anyone who was watching, he actually had a pretty good year last year.
Lv-Bills Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Alright I love this guy but don't you think his retirement run is a little too long? He'll be bcak again... maybe he'll stick around long enought now so we can see him in another 7 years at Buffalo... haha Thank God. Now maybe the networks can cover Brett Favre for hours on end tomorrow, perhaps even overshadowing the Super Bowl and its two teams.
Simon Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 seeing the snide cut-down jokes here from the cynics here is kinda sad. for anyone who was watching, he actually had a pretty good year last year. Couldn't agree more. W/o him the Packers might have been 3-13. To hell with everybody else Brett, you play as long as you damned well please.......
ofiba Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Brett Favre is still very good. He tends to force a lot of balls, but that's only because he's always playing catch up with this terrible team. Give Favre a halfway decent supporting cast and it's a much different story. Nobody can win on their own.
