TO, Jerry Jones, MaGahee are idiots making the current news...

The meltdown that Denny Green had earlier in the year makes him a pretty good favorite but I think the comments that were the icing on the cake for costing Jim Mora his job is the winner. Why in the world would he be even be suggesting that he would love to coach somewheres else as he is already a head coach of another team during a season? What a mook!

Idiot of the year award go to.....TO. How could you not deny that. Everyone hates the guy. He makes a team look so bad.

Actually the Idiot(s) award of the year has to go to the Cincinnati Bengals players....They completely messed up an upcoming team that should have gone deep into the playoffs with all their off-field incidents. I don't think any team was affected by their players as much as the Bengals.

Hahahahahaha willis making national news. No one outside of WNY gives 2 ***** about willis having a few kids out of wedlock or his comments in playboy. This board and the buffalo snooze are the only places making a big deal out of it.

Lets get the facts straight,

1. its 3 kids, 2 the fans could handle

2. It was Penthouse, not playboy. The fans could take the comments if they weren't in a second rate porn magasine, but in the #1 porn magasine

The Bengals-

With special mention of the 10 players thet have had arrested in the past year.

Thee MVP of this jailbird team is easily Chris Henry.

The second-year receiver was arrested four times in seven months in three states.

Chris Henry update: This A.M. he was convicted here of supplying alcohol to a minor. The Judge gave'em 90 days...and then reduced it to 2...

That minor had accused Henry of rape...she was charged with falsification about that...and while the authorities were checking up on her, they determined she had murdered a guy some time back!

At least he's not hanging with a bad crowd.

At least he's not hanging with a bad crowd.

He switched to hanging with MLB Odell Thurmann.

Thurman was stopped and arrested at a DUI checkpoint after 3 games into the season - so his 4 game suspension was extended to the whole year (during which he got no pay). Henry was in the vehicle, and the police camera showed him vomiting out the window.

That gave Henry a 2 game suspension.

And it was later found out that Thurmann's girlfriend was stopped at the same checkpoint 2 hours earlier, and she called her sweetie to tell him to drive elsewhere.

Never discount the value of a college education...

Grossman admitting that he "didn't give 100% in my game preparation" because "it was New Year's Eve" was not the brightest quote given to the media by a player. Even if that's the case, don't admit it.

Big Ben appearing in Fat Head commercials is priceless.

On the coach front, Denny Green, Nick Saban, and Jim Mora Jr (and Sr too) all said some pretty dumb things. Jim Mora Sr. may have been accurate, but you can't call the QB of the team your son coaches "a coach killer."

The smartest quote this year was probably given by the Boise State coach, when asked how he came to decide to go for the win using a hidden ball Statue of Liberty play for the 2-pt conversion:

"Well, we practiced it, and we hadn't used it yet, so I thought we should give it a try." I love that. An NFL coach would get his panties in a knot trying to calculate the liklihood of converting, factoring in crowd, media response, his owners response, and get himself all worked up about potentially losing the game, that he would forget how to go win it. "We practiced it, and we hadn't used it yet, so I thought we'd give it a try." I love it.

I don't think anyone outside of WNY cares what Willis said, or even thinks there was anything wrong with it

I can think of six people who care what Willis says...er...sends to them in weekly/monthly installments.

Really? That's weird, cause Frank Caliendo took a shot at him before the Bears game 2 weeks ago.

"Willis McGahee is going through his 3rd paternity issue in the past year. No wonder they don't expect him to block, he knows nothing about protection."

Classic.
