RU5781 Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I bought one today. Anyone own one or know how to play? I love the sound, and I totally dig cultural instruments. I can play the sax, piano, and bagpipes. I'm going to now learn the didge, and in the future I want to learn how to play the accordian (I know I'm a nerd), and the harp.
Helmet_hair Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Yeah, come on over my neighbor knows how.
justnzane Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 my professor was just playing it in my morning class, and half of the class wanted to beat him over the head for waking them out of their hangovers

RU5781 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Gay instrument. Matches your car. Well, if I drove a Prius, I would have bought a flute. BTW, tell that to an Australian. See what happens.
dib Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Is it battery powered or do you just move it back and forth?

My daughter is also into obscure cutural instruments. Last year she bought a fujara, a Slovakian bass flute. It's about 5 feet tall, looks like a basoon, and sounds a little like a digeredoo. Oh and it's tuned to some weird Slovakian scale too. PTR
RU5781 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Is it battery powered or do you just move it back and forth? Even though you suggested I get the battery one, ya know, like the ones you have, I went with the one I move back and forth.
