Some stuff had come out earlier in the season that he was already regretting the decision and that going to the Cards was absolutely the opposite of what he had expected. Now he did sign with Arizona so I'm not sure what exactly it was that he did expect but regardless he knew he had messed up early in the season. Now he can root for the Colts to win the ring that he should be playing for while he is counting his cash.

and rich!

To paraphrase the greatest movie ever made..."Rich dumb and stoned is no way to go through life son."

I thought it was fat, dumb, and stupid.

It depends upon him as a person. This probably is a good cautionary tale that if one's sole focus is on your self, you can certainly end up with bitter disappointment.

He clearly is going to miss being a part of the achievements of his teammates this year and in exchange simply gets a huge boatload (rather than the semi-huge boatload he would have if he stayed) of $.

In terms of reality because he is gone and that is that, to the extent that he had retained relationships with a significant # of old friends on the Colts, though he is not really a part of the SB weeks, he actually can experience a nice chunk of happiness for the accomplishments of his friends.

In the ned, too the extent his focus is all about him, then he is mostly spending time lying to himself that he is OK. To the extent he is about sharing the joy of his friend's accomplishments as best he can, he probably is a fairly happy camper.

What? And cut into valuable golf time?

Picturing Edge golfing is a bit like picturing Willis golfing, fish out of water.
