Ramius Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Since when is holding the TE's arm pinned against his chest, "playing the ball". Oh thats right, only when the pats do it.
Lurker Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Even when Bridget's Boytoy messes up, it works. Bridget's old news. Here's the new squeeze.
bills44 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 what the hell has Boomer Esiason ever won? Clown needs to STFU.
ofiba Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Holding someone's arm is a play on the ball? Yeah, obviously. The Pats are just THAT good. Great mind control by Brady to force Wayne to trip.
Simon Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Not just between, it was holding the other arm down. Then how did Clark have both hands on the ball? I thought he didn't actually pull his arm down until after the ball was gone.
Ralonzo Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Personally I love the network finding the one camera angle that doesn't show Wayne getting his leg hit which caused him to trip over himself and showing it 30 times to justify the refs decision.
OCinBuffalo Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Holding someone's arm is a play on the ball? And of course Boomer defends the no call on Wayne(which I can see, btw) - but convienently doesn't talk about the one on Clark.
Pete Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 what the hell has Boomer Esiason ever won? Clown needs to STFU. Boomer has played in a Superbowl
Kgun5 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Simms: "Reggie Wayne clearly tripped over himself." Umm, no. It was clear on the second replay that was shown that the knee of the Pat's DB bumps Wayne's legs into each other (which on the first replay, makes it appear as if Wayne trips entirely on his own). It's still isn't a penalty by the rules, but Simms shows his attention to detail as usual.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The Bils lost to all of these teams. The Pats look like they will beat them all when it counted. That's the difference. If it were so easy, other teams would do it. You're not actually gonna compare the talent of the pats to that of the bills? Ne is a far superior team for a playoff experienced team going up against the jets/marty/dungy it's a easy playoff ride the combined playoff record of those coaches is 12-22. Meanwhile Belichick is 13-2 about to be 14-2. The Pats have severly outmatched all 3 of the teams they faced in coaching and in the trenches.
bills44 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Yeah, obviously. The Pats are just THAT good. Great mind control by Brady to force Wayne to trip. Clearly. And the hand on Wayne's hip was an optical illusion. Never happened - but even if it did, it's a perfectly legal play
Maguire's Beer Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 No one hates the Pats, and M!@#$s in general, more than I do -- and I'll be the first to agree that they are a phenomenally lucky team -- but they are quite good. And they don't need luck this time round, since the Colts are sucking out loud.
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 You people are pathetic... Get used to it -- the Pats are good. Each and every one of those calls was correct. Clark's pass was deflected because the defeder had his arm in the perfect spot and Reggie Wayne tripped over HIMSELF! We are pathetic... Think the Bills get a call like that on D during the season? You gotta be joking if you believe they do... The official ruling was "tangling of the feet"... Wow! I learn new calls everyday... SO in other words you can get tangled up with the receiver make him trip over his own feet and not get called for interference...
bills44 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Boomer has played in a Superbowl So, he's won a single AFC Championship. Kind of weak for him to rip Manning (and make comparisons to ARod) when he hasn't won "The Big One" himself.
KD in CA Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The official ruling was "tangling of the feet"... Wow! I learn new calls everyday... The official ruling was "Manning's choke partner Harrison tripped over his own feet" but that takes too long to say. He wasn't touched.
/dev/null Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 Great mind control by Brady to force Wayne to trip. There is no doubt, Brady is a Sith. Always 2 there are, a master and an apprentice. But which one? The master or the apprentice?
Kgun5 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The official ruling was "Manning's choke partner Harrison tripped over his own feet" but that takes too long to say. He wasn't touched. He was touched.

It's known as "incidental contact" and it's (not) called almost every weekend.
Max997 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The Colts never gameplan, they come out every week and do the same thing over and over and when it doesnt work they simply cant adjust. The Pats are one of the few teams that can get consistant pressure on Manning which he cant handle and is a big reason why he struggles against them.
bills44 Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 The official ruling was "Manning's choke partner Harrison tripped over his own feet" but that takes too long to say. He wasn't touched. It was Wayne, and he was touched.
