Firing a GM midseason doesn't give anyone a spark, it doesn't solve any problems, and coming out critical only makes things worse. You think he's going to saunter down to the locker room and hand Drew Bledsoe the Perfect Play? The end of the season, he'll look at Donahoe with a year left on his contract and make a decision. There's NO benefit to this team of making that one early.
