Beerball
The Stanley Cup will be in Dallas for next week's game and it will be at my place of work from 10-noon on game day. I can have my picture taken with the Cup for $5, with all money going to charity. Should I have my picture taken with the Cup in anticipation of a title, or would this create bad juju for the Sabres? Chilly
Don't do it! You're getting your picture taken with the latest names being the Carolina Hurricanes players names!

You could just crash a local "stanley cup party" http://picasaweb.google.com/eric.democko/S...606902578806802 And I used to work with this guy. Guess quitting was a bad idea. http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4117/21...24_edited.5.jpg I might be the only Buffalo fan happy to see Carolina take it home last year. Fezmid
If it were me, I'd probably go see it, but I wouldn't pay $5 for a picture.
Cornerville
I might be the only Buffalo fan happy to see Carolina take it home last year. Yeah, probably. eball
I might be the only Buffalo fan happy to see Carolina take it home last year. I'll confirm that for ya. What's next -- are you going to start waxing poetic about how nice it would be for the city of Toronto to win a Cup?
smokinandjokin
Bring a chisel and scuff up the Cup where the '99 Dallas Stars names are etched. That should go over well.
BillsFanNC
Do it, but wear a "NO GOAL!" t-shirt for the picture.

I had a chance to party with the cup as well when it made it's rounds at Blinco's. My friend called me and told me it was going to be there and that he could get me in. I politely told him no thanks and he was shocked that I didn't want to go. What possible fun could I have as a Sabres fan watching a bunch of team swapping Canes fans party with the Stanley Cup? mcjeff215
What is next, someone was happy that Norwood missed the kick?!?!?! <_< You know, if he HAD made that kick, we wouldn't be remembered as the four Superbowl team we are. In a way, him missing that kick really helped cement our dynasty as one of the most memorable. I kid. I kid.

Ronnie Harmon end zone drop in '89 playoff loss to Browns. Could have been six in a row... The Stanley was in San Diego a few years ago. Went to see it from a distance but I wouldn't do the picture. Bad karma. Once the Sabres get their picture with the cup then I will reconsider. Until then, I have no business being near the La Coupe.
