truth on hold Posted January 15, 2007 Share Posted January 15, 2007 why hate on the pats? winning the super bowl would give bills the best chance of over taking them next year. they would draft the lowest and their players will be over valued in the free agent market, meaing cheapo kraft would lose them all. their assistant coaches will be over valued too and they'd likely lose some that would have otherwise stayed. they'd have the hardest schedule playing with a huge bull's eye on their back as every team in the league would get extra-motivated to knock off "the champ" (a.k.a. this year's steelers.) although my heart is with the saints, from a selfish perspective my mind is with the pats. Players want to go to a winning team, so as long as they are winning the pats will have an advantage in the FA market. Plus there is not much of a difference between the 20 and 32 pick. There are more talented players in College than ever. The Pats will be able to fill whatever holes they have through the draft, and ten steal out free agents. Pats must lose to the Colts Badly.
