JCBoston Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 IMO, Marty will be lucky to keep his job. That was a pathetic display of not wanting to win. No discipline, no character, no chance. That interception/fumble was on 4th down, right? Knock it down, you idiot, don't try to be a hero. It usually backfires.
bdelma Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 He'll be in AJ smith explaining hwo his team was undisplined

jester43 Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 yes, and next week people will be on here calling for dungy's head.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 give the guy a break ,we all forget the 4 in a row we lost.I DON`T,never will.Same could be said about Levy. That`s just the way it goes.
SouthernMan Posted January 15, 2007 Posted January 15, 2007 He'll be in AJ smith explaining hwo his team was undisplined If the Charger who intercepted the ball on 4th down, with around 6 minutes left, doesn't have it knocked out of his hands and subsequently recoverd by the Patriots, the Chargers probably win. can't blame Shottenheimer for that bone-headed move. He should have hit the ground and let the O take over instead of trying ot be the hero. If he ha any sense, he'd know that the Pats were desperate and would be going for the ball. DUH.

DUH. but schottenheimer oversaw a coaching staff that, on 2nd and 4 after a 6 yard LT run, threw it twice to a set of abysmal WRs.

He's cursed but the Chargers will be good next year.
