keepthefaith Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 How lucky are the Bills to have Lee Evans? After finishing 41st in yards (743) in '05, he stepped in to the #1 receiver slot this year and finished 6th in in the league in yardage with 1292 yards. That's approaching what he and Moulds had for yards combined in '05 (just over 1500). He's a budding star, one of a few on this Bills team. He should be a pro bowl candidate next year if he gets any media attention. All he does is go about his business quietly and let's his play do the talking. You don't hear much about this guy except that he's a real gentleman. We need to see and hear more from Lee next year. Here's a guy worthy of the attention and a great public face for this team.
SnakeOiler Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Just think how much better he would have been if eric moulds was still on the team ? Or, like some wanted, Terrell Owens!
HudsonValleyBillsFan Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Whats his contract situation? We got to lock this guy up!
Dibs Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Whats his contract situation? We got to lock this guy up! Under contract to(& including) 2009
SoulMan Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Lee Evans is a class act whom I hope spends an entire HOF career as a Buffalo Bill. Pile on posters !
stephenjames716 Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 the best part about lee is that when he scores a touchdown he puts the ball down, runs over to the sideline and celebrates with his teammates for a job well done. he is one of the only wide recievers in the league that recognizes that it's a team effort to get down the field, and if it wasn't for the o-line giving time to the qb then he would never get the ball. I wish there were more like him.
Astrobot Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 I think he's a Dwayne Jarrett away from the Pro Bowl. Bring in a bona fide #2 WR, and Evans leads the league.
HudsonValleyBillsFan Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 So we have evans for another 3 years? Are you sure? What about losman? I really would love to see the bills to figure out how to lock him up for 5-6 years. This offseason my be the time to do it before he makes a pro bowl and really drives up his market value. Under contract to(& including) 2009
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Evans is signed through 2009 and JP is signed through 2008.
