They had aoffered a scholarship to Chris Little. He selected them at the Army game last weekend. He played a pretty bad game, so what did FSU do? Yank the scholarship. Nice. :pirate:

He now verbalized with ND.

Check your scrolls there christ. Little selected FSU, then de-committed from here, saying that he wanted to be closer to home and its always been a dream to play in south bend.

And once a player de-commits, the school will usually pull the scholarship offer. It has nothing to do with his play last weekend.

Wow, Ramius has no idea what he's talking about. Please, don't let facts get in the way.

It's all over the Rivals message boards. Their O-line coach apparently wants smaller guys on the o-line.

Thats quite the holcombs arm level of reading comprehension. Try to understand and comprehend this:

1. Little verbally commits to FSU (hence the scholarship offer) this was saturday

2. on monday, FSU announces the hiring of new OC Jimbo Fisher

3. Fisher, along with trickett, our new OL coach establish that they want specific guys for their offensive line

4. They, and chris little, both realize that little will not fit the new offensive philosophy

5. Little, realizing this, de-commits from FSU, and chooses N.D. Little also says he would like to play closer to home and that played a big role in his decision

6. After de-committing, FSU pulls his scholarship offer.

that may be a bit too tough for your brain to comprehend, but try.

The scholarship was pulled first. Why don't you do a little research. Still hung over from your Emerald Bowl appearance? :bag:

funny how you and some rutgers message board claim it was pulled first, and the only word around here in that he was supposed ot visit, and the university was "surprised" that he de-committed.

well, since rutgers actually won a bowl game, you've gotten over that hump. Next on the list is to finally get you laid.

got the latest report on chris little

New coaching staff and new coaches decided that he wasnt going to fit the new system and informed him as much. Had nothing to do with his play last weekend.

So ed, instead of being jackasses and keeping him on scholarship, they informed him he wasnt going to fit in, and he de-committed so he could go elsewhere. They didnt just yank his scholarship like you so eloquently stated.

Good job being a moron like usual.

That's rough. But not as bad as what happened to a football player from my hometown (Erie, PA) in the early 90s

Player's name was Brian Milne. He was a RB who after his junior season was close to breaking the PA high school rushing record, held at that time by Tony Dorsett. All the big schools were after him, Bowden and Holtz were all over him.

Then he came down with Hodgkins Disease and all of the scholarship offers disappeared except for one. Paterno kept the scholarship offer open whether he played football or not. He did end up playing for Penn State, became a starter and even got drafted by the Colts. The Colts ended up cutting him and he caught on with the Bengals where he played for a couple seasons

Long story short...Paterno > Bowden

Haha, you were wrong, and you insult me! Ha!

Real nice of a college to offer a kid a scholarship, have him accept on national TV, and then pull it.

That says a lot about your university and head coach. Maybe that's why you're only the fourth best team in Florida.

Haha, I see you must jump right to the insults again. Nice.

1. I like how you ignored FSU is the 4th best in the state. Sad, but true.

2. Again, check your facts. It did happen. Poke around your University a bit. Anyone associated with D1 sports will know the true story.
