I'm going to be studying Meteorology next year and from what I've lookied into and heard is that the main player for this year's weird winter is El Nino. However global warming is affecting El Nino this year but only on a minimal scale. Wacka Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 Just spent 3 weeks in balmy Buffalo. I live in the SF Bay area and they are predicting teens-low 20s for the inland valleys (where I live) Saturday morning! The snow level may get below 1000 feet (we are at 350 feet).
