willis - 2007

Recommended Posts

Will have over 1500yds and 13TD's +

you know why --- because it's A CONTRACT YEAR. The biggest motivator in sports. Let's draft his replacement in the second round, and adios a la Edge James in 2008.

Thank you and good night.

Not even close he will crack the 1000 yard mark but no way does he get in 13 times. 8-9 tops.

Based on what? Did you not see his first season, he has shown that he has the ability to find the endzone plenty of times, so pretty much you're basing your senseless prediction on what he's done over the last 2 seasons.

Improved offensive line for next year, he was playing injured this year BTW so if he is healthy next year he'll be a lot better, plus now he's faster than he was 3 seasons ago. I'm not saying he's going to go and get 13 touchdowns, but saying 8 or 9 is the MOST he could possibly get is rediculous, he got 13 touchdowns in his first season starting only 11 games. 13 or even 15 touchdowns isn't an impossibility for McGahee next season.

That will indicate that our OL will be poor another season....I think the Bills will address the OL this off season.

"The contract year" is one of the biggest crocks in all of sports. If it's true, that players put forth more effort in their contract years, that means that about 80% of the entire league is dogging it every day, every game, and could easily put out more effort and play better if this were their contract year. LT could have been way better this year if this was his contract year. Devin Hester? He was a friggin' rookie! If this was his contract year he would have had 10 TDs. And if this was Craig Nall's contract year, surely he would have beaten out JP for the starters job.

Willis and his agent announce before the Raven game that it's time for Willis to get his due. You can't ask for a better opportunity to play your ass off.

What happens? Willis sucks in the Raven game.

What makes anyone think Willis will have a good year next year just because it's a contract year?

Until proven otherwise, Willis only gets up when Willis wants to get up, and he has not shown that he has the ability to do that for more than a single game in a row.
