I know a guy who played football one year at Georgetown. At the end of his Junior year he declared himself eliglible, and lied about his size (said he was a long snapper). The coach called him to yell at him because he kept getting calls from NFL teams...

so, if you are in college that might be a halfway amusing thing to do..

To be honest I'm truly clueless as to where we're going in terms of the draft, obviously free agency plays a big part. I'm not in favor of a 1st round RB unless we trade McGahee or firmly go into his contract year with the intention of letting him walk. And Peterson or Lynch would have to fall to us, personally, I'd take Lynch, not as beat up and more explosive. AP looks like a Fred Taylor clone to me. As usual, we're bad enough to miss the playoffs but not bad enough to land one of the elite players.

That's awesome that so many juniors are coming out early.

The 12th choice is looking sweet right now.....

I'm on the Patrick Willis bandwagon right now......

of course that goes with the Bills signing at least one quality veteran OL- be it tackle or guard and a run stuffing DT.

DT, MLB, or possibly a CB if Clements is going out the door. Our run defense was HORRIBLE this year. Our passs defese was OK. We also need to get a true #2 receiver to take pressure off of Evans. A solid TE is needed to be a safety outlet for JP as well. I like Dorsey, the DT out of LSU. That boy is a beast. Him or the 19 year old senior from Louisville, I believe his last name is Okoye. I think Triplett played like crap this year. We have McCargo who missed most of the year and Kyle Williams who started to play decent towards the end. Another young guy that is as promising as the two I just named added to the mix could help us to sure things up for years to come. I also think we should look for a DE this year to play oppisite of Schoebel. I'm not sold on Kelsay and Denney. They are mere average players at best. Patrick Willis would be a great choice also. He would lock up our MLB spot for atleast the next 5 or 6 years and the kid is a tackling machine. I think that McCaully from Fresno St. or Cason from Arizona or Daymeon Hughes from Cal would be solid choices if we went CB with our 1st pick. I think the draft is too deep to go with a RB on our 1st pick though, UNLESS we trade McGahee and get a couple of other GOOD draft picks in return. Like a 1st & 3rd or 4th, or maybe a 2nd & 3rd. If we got another 1st round pick, I would take Lynch if he was there. He has not only good speed, but great acceleration through the line and is a strong runner as well. I don't really see anyone coming up off of those kind of picks for him(McGahee) though. On second thought, I don't think I would trade him unless we got a 1st rounder in the package. But if a guy like Dwayne Jarrett lasts until we get on the clock at #12? Ehhhhhh, that kid would be tough to pass on. We could also look to Justin Blaylock from Teaxas to sure up our OL or maybe a Levi Brown to play the other OT spot. Options are endless with our team having so many real needs. I just hope our staff addresses the right things at the right time in the draft. We need to be really smart this year in FA and the draft because our team made great strides in 2006. If we do the right things this offseason we could be headed back to "contender" status for years to come or we could go back into a hole like we did after almost making the playoffs a couple of years ago.

Jamaal Anderson is an interesting prospect. Very good pass rusher from the left side with excellent size. If Kelsay leaves, he'd be a good replacement.

I like Jamaal Anderson, he's big, real athletic and a natural pass rusher. He has worked hard to get to the point he's at in such a short time and has a lot of upside. I was watching Arkansas early in the season and the color analyst compared him to Michael Strahan, and I agree, he has that same frame and style of play. I'd be happy with Kelsay though, if he stayed. Kelsay is a good player and that would be more evident if the interior of the line was a bit more formidable.

Yes, you must've seen him when he was wreaking havoc on Tennessee. He was a monster. I'd prefer the Bills just re-sign Kelsay as well since Anderson is probably a first round prospect anyway.

Wow alot of early entries as of yet, this bolds well for us in terms of maybe somebody's need position popped up and one fo the better prospects will fall to us at 12, or make it more attractive for somebody to trade up for. I like our chances

What kind of back is Marshawn Lynch?

Being on the east coast, I've never really seen him play.

An overrated one. He ran against those defensive power houses in the PAC 10. And I am an ASU alum so its not some east coast bias against the PAC. I just don't buy into the Lynch hype. I think if this draft weren't so weak in terms of running backs then lynch isn't even sniffing the top ten maybe not even the first round.
