nick in* england Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 WHAT THE HECK?: So my wife and I are teaching my daughter to read and I'm going through this NFL Big & Small book of opposites. There's only one word to read on each page, so I'm going through it with my daughter... Big (photo of Gilbert Brown) and small (little kid in a football jersey), and that goes on and on through the opposites until we get to Happy (photo of father and son Packer fans all decked out in Packers gear) and Sad (photo of a forlorn Bills fan). I got so ticked off. I slammed the book shut and said, "We're not reading this book anymore!" We picked another book and kept reading, but that NFL Opposite book is headed for the trash. I'd dump that book too!
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I'd dump that book too! Uh, is there really any question WHY they used a Bills fan for that picture?
SDS Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 Uh, is there really any question WHY they used a Bills fan for that picture? they could have used two pictures of you... from the same season... from the same game... from the same play!
marauderswr80 Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I had a chance to talk to Chris Brown when I went to the Jags game in Nov. It was in the fieldhouse when they do the radio show for the Bills. Hes a good guy! Very polite. I told him he has my dream job.

OnTheRocks Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 sounds like they should use a picture of Chris Brown for the page in the book the describes angry and bitter.
Cugalabanza Posted January 9, 2007 Posted January 9, 2007 I know him. Used to hang out with him at SUNY Geneseo. He's a very cool guy. Very Funny! What's awesome is he's living his dream. He always wanted to have a career in sports broadcasting/journalism.
