Father knows best? A third paternity suit was filed against Willis McGahee, 25, Buffalo Bills running back and former University of Miami Hurricane.

Keisha Walls, 27, an elementary school teacher, says McGahee is the father of son Kai Walls, born April 19, 2006.

Chiniqua Smith, 26, also a teacher, says McGahee is the father of Willis McGahee IV, born Jan. 6, 2006.

Dorothy Doretha McNeil, 29, sued McGahee in 2005, saying he fathered daughter Bria McGahee, born Jan. 17 of that year.

Somebody needs to sit down with Willis and explain the finer points of the birds and the bees. :pirate::P

. . . and some of you guys have claimed that he is not producing. :pirate:

Quote of the day in my opinion!ZING!!!!

No but seriously he needs a contract extension just so he can by some condoms. This is borderline ridiculous. The guy will be able to field a whole team by the time hes 30.

He also, apparently, hits the hole pretty hard, and clearly can score. Although, granted, he cares little about protection. Attababy, Willis!

Ouch! That's potentially a lot of child support to pay. At guideline rates, he could be looking at 40-50% of his net take-home in combined support payments. Now there's a good reason to think about contraception. No wonder he needs a new contract this year. :pirate:

All the more reason to let him play his contract season assuming all the risk and reward, and let him walk after next year. Willis' type of production is EASILY replaced.

Who said George Washington was the father of our country....

Hmmmmmm--I guess a hold out is not a realistic scenario....maybe the Bills could offer to fund a vasectomy...

It's like I've been saying all along - he only produces in spurts.

Was this after a Jets game?

I did the math - assuming none of the kids were early, we're looking at a couple of April conceptions and one mid-July one (just before training camp in 05).

Is Willis McGahee daddy times three?By JOAN FLEISCHMAN

jfleischman@MiamiHerald.com

In the cases of Smith and McNeil, McGahee has been declared the biological father and is paying support.''He's an honorable person,'' says McGahee's attorney, Howard Rudolph. In Walls' case, the paternity issue has not yet been resolved.

Walls, who went to the University of Florida, met McGahee in Miami during a college break. An ''on again, off again'' relationship, she says. In October '03, she married Devino Walls but was estranged from him when Kai was conceived, she says.

Her husband took a paternity test. ``It was negative.''

She is awaiting the result of McGahee's DNA test, ordered by Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Amy Steele Donner. Says Walls: ``I don't sleep around. It was Willis.''

She and Devino, 26, have a daughter Jaia, 3. The Walls are in divorce court. He filed.

She wants custody of Kai, with shared parental responsibility and visitation. McGahee has a ''significant seven-figure income with extensive financial resources'' and should pay child support, says her petition, filed by attorney Craig Weissberg.

Says Rudolph: ``If he is the father, he will make appropriate arrangements.''

Smith, who has known McGahee since her college days, says their romance was ``off and on.''

He stuck by her when baby Willis was born. ''He was there through my delivery, saw the birth, was there to cut the umbilical cord and signed the birth certificate.'' Smith's attorney, Sherrie Marcus, says a DNA test confirmed that McGahee is the father. He is paying interim child support. That case is before Circuit Judge Marc Schumacher.

Says Smith: ''Money is not an issue at all. That's why I went to college. That's why I'm in school for my masters.'' What she'd like, she says, is for her son to have a daddy in his life, not just ``every blue moon.''

But, she says, 'you cannot hold a gun to someone's head and say, `come see your son' or 'spend time with your son.' You can't do it, and I'm not going to try.''

McGahee is a ''great person at heart,'' she says. ``Once he gets his act together and finally decides to be a man and step up to the plate, he'll be a wonderful person.''

The McNeil case settled amicably, Rudolph says. ``He has a lot of visitation time with the child. He loves his daughter.''

Rudolph believes McGahee will come through for Willis IV, and for Kai, if the boy is his. ``He'll be the same good father and honorable person that he is to his first child.''

In 2003, McGahee signed a contract worth up to $15.53 million over five years. (Base salary is more than $7 million, plus incentives.) He grossed $923,469 in '05, financial records show.

He has a $720,000 home near Buffalo and a $665,000 condo at The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton in Coconut Grove. He lists three vehicles -- a BMW, Porsche and Infiniti -- plus $719,000 in jewelry.

Says Rudolph: ``He's a football player who is making a nice living. But he is not making the kind of money that people think.''
