throwbackbilly Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Nice to see Jon get that long snap right where it needed to be. Way to go Magic Man!
In space no one can hear Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I agree with your sentiments. I will always root for Dorenbos!
Albany,n.y. Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 He made the Giants disappear from the playoffs.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Nice to see Jon get that long snap right where it needed to be.Way to go Magic Man! He's still a great LS.
JoeF Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Nice Lincoln Leap at the end by Jon as well. Great to see him do well..
PromoTheRobot Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Why did we get rid of him ? Mullarkey wanted his guy from Pittsburgh in. Schenk has done fine, but I miss Doronbos. PTR
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Schneck is better. Made the Pro Bowl last year, for cryin' out loud!
eball Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Schneck is better. Made the Pro Bowl last year, for cryin' out loud! Exactly. Dorenbos was/is a nice human interest story, but the Bills have had the best ST in the league for three years running and consistently superior long-snapping is a part of that. You can blame Mularkey/Donahoe for a lot of boneheadedness, but this is a poor example.
IDBillzFan Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Schneck is better. Made the Pro Bowl last year, for cryin' out loud! Some would argue that the addition of Schneck is one of the main reasons we've seen Lindell become a good kicker. In fact, I remember Lindell even commenting on how reliable Schneck is as the LS in terms of getting the ball out fast, accurate and consistent.

I was going to mention that, then remembered his missed kick against Indy. Still it's a good point.
eSJayDee Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Why did we get rid of him ? IMO, Dorenbos was a great punt snapper, but was not particularly good at FG. If I'm not mistaken, we experiemented w/ other people on FGs during his tenure.
RunTheBall Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I agree with your sentiments. I will always root for Dorenbos! Who the f*ck roots for a long snapper after he leaves the team? Holy crap. RTB
marauderswr80 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Yeah I felt the same way for him, although I wish it was happening in a Bills uniform.
rockpile Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Why did we get rid of him ? Two years back I took a leak next to him at the "trough" trailer at training camp and Donhoe was jealous.
The Tomcat Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Who the f*ck roots for a long snapper after he leaves the team? Holy crap. RTB I have to admit I was....
ganesh Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Schneck is better. Made the Pro Bowl last year, for cryin' out loud! And Schnecks long snapping has improved Moormans punting and Lindells FG kicking in the last two years.
