You must go to a McMenamins Some of the best microbrews in Oregon are served there and the food is excellent. I think the donut place that Pete is referring to is Voodoo Donuts. I've never been there but I hear it's worth going to. I wish the weather would be nice but expect rain while you are here. If the weather was nice I'd tell you to go check out the Columbia Gorge or make a day trip down to the beach. But don't let the weather stop you...go anyway! If you like skiing we have excellent ski resorts too. They are only about an hour from Portland. Of course there's always the Shanghai Tunnel Tour. I just went to this over the summer.
