That the NFL didn't step in, or the Bear's do more than suspend him for 1 game is friggin criminal in its own right. Here's some of what was found in his home:

550 rounds of ammo

six guns

pot

unlabeled pills believed to be the prescription painkiller hydrocodone

3 caged pit bulls

It was the third arrest in 18 months for Johnson, who must stay at home except to go to work and needs permission to leave Illinois until a court decides whether he violated his probation on a 2005 gun charge.

Tough decision that.

pretty simple answer to that - without tommie harris (who is hurt) and tank johnson, the bears run defense is a sieve. i'm of course not saying it's right, but the bears want to win the super bowl and are therefore willing to make a pact with the devil. johnson will surely be let go after the season ends.

Johnson's bodyguard, Willie B. Posey, was arrested on felony drug charges after the raid; Posey was shot and killed two days later during an early morning fight at a nightclub in Chicago.

What the !@#$ is up with these guys and nightclubs? Dont they know how to behave?
