No, it's a dead link. This happens fairly frequently on the audio vault and when you contact them to advise of the issue they don't respond or change anything. Happened with a Lee Evans show from a couple weeks back too.
Mantis Toboggan M.D Posted January 4, 2007 Author Posted January 4, 2007 damnit, that sucks. the mularkey wgr clips are hilarious. i hope wgr fixes it soon, i need to hear how stupid they can make meathead sound.
LabattBlue Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Way too much time and effort spent by certain WGR hosts trying to be funny(failing most of the time) and not enough time trying to be a credible sports talk station.
loadofmularkey Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Way too much time and effort spent by certain WGR hosts trying to be funny(failing most of the time) and not enough time trying to be a credible sports talk station. Like every other sports talk station?
LabattBlue Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Like every other sports talk station? I don't know about every sports talk station, just the assclowns at WGR(except for Howard Simon most of the time).

loadofmularkey Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I don't know about every sports talk station, just the assclowns at WGR(except for Howard Simon most of the time). You should try listening to WEEI in Boston sometime. They make WGR's personalities sound like Murrow.
Lori Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 You should try listening to WEEI in Boston sometime. They make WGR's personalities sound like Murrow. They have Red Sox Nation and more Smerlas than we do. That's enough to drive me away...

Figured it out - the link is misnamed on their site. Instead of "saban.wma", it should be "mularkey.wma": http://eod.liquidviewer.com/wgr-od/wgr/20070103_mularkey.wma I'll let 'em know. Al. A. Bama. "Just bring the offensive coordinator." Classic. ADD: The link is now fixed on the GR site: http://www.wgr550.com/ondemand.php That was quick work. Thanks!

If I can't luck my way into finding them (like I did by taking a guess on the MM one), I'll mention them if/when GR gets back to me.
agilen Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I found those lee evans ones when they were broken. You need to change the date to either '19' or '17', can't remember. EDIT: Its 19. Here you go: http://eod.liquidviewer.com/wgr-od/wgr/20061219_Evans1.wma http://eod.liquidviewer.com/wgr-od/wgr/20061219_Evans2.wma http://eod.liquidviewer.com/wgr-od/wgr/20061219_Evans3.wma

EDIT: Good catch, agilen.

Lori Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 anyone know where i can find the bruschi clip? "I wish he was my dad" Might be out of luck on that one, unless somebody saved it on their HD. That was from '05, and the oldest audio listed in the Vault is dated March '06... Anyone?
