DrDawkinstein Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 And the raiders, lions and bucs have all said "thats fine, we're all looking to trade down and get Russell"... here we go!
scribo Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 Has anyone ever before claimed to want to play for the Browns?
Lori Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Has anyone ever before claimed to want to play for the Browns? Somebody give that kid a drug test...
Cornerville Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Somebody give that kid a drug test... Or a Wonderlic test....
Fixxxer Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Maybe the Crennel/Weiss connection has something to do with it. Just guessing.
The Jokeman Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Maybe the Crennel/Weiss connection has something to do with it. Just guessing. I'm sure that could be part of it but being an Ohio native might play a larger part.
Buford T. Justice Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Has anyone ever before claimed to want to play for the Browns? Over the Raiders and Lions? Yes, many times.
Lori Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 I'm sure that could be part of it but being an Ohio native might play a larger part. True -- that did work for Bernie K. ...
DrDawkinstein Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 Link at all? I didn't find anything on ESPN. looking for link, i had just seen it on Sportscenter...
d_wag Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 i don't care where he goes, as long as he, brohm, and marcus all go somewhere before #12......
scribo Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 i don't care where he goes, as long as he, brohm, and marcus all go somewhere before #12...... First off, I really don't think you have anything to worry about. They will each be long gone by the time the charing Buffalo pops onto the screen. But...it would be great if Quinn or Brohm were still there as Marv could very likely get great value in trading down at that point.

scribo Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 just like last year when cutler was on the board and denver was gagging for him? haha Exaclty. Maybe Marv learned his lesson.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Has anyone ever before claimed to want to play for the Browns? If I'm Brady Quinn I'm looking for everyway possible to avoid being drafted by al davis or matt millen.
Arkady Renko Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 When will a player holdout in order to play for the Bills?
Webster Guy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Has anyone ever before claimed to want to play for the Browns? Tom Cousineau?
stuckincincy Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 Has anyone ever before claimed to want to play for the Browns? LeCharles Bentley. And see what happened to him... Poor Browns...they've had to put over a 100 players on IR since their resurrection. I'd be shocked if the Browns considered Quinn. Frye has a lot to like. Assuming his late-season brush with the Cleveland injury curse is short-lived.
Chilly Posted January 3, 2007 Posted January 3, 2007 looking for link, i had just seen it on Sportscenter... Yeah, I ended up seeing it on ESPN too. Wish they had gone into it a little bit more, their coverage sucked, lol.
