The Jokeman Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 make that since mid-season...he is in some kind of slump Lovie seems to be an old school coach ie as long as he's healthy his QB is Grossman. So, I say he'll start Grossman but if he continues to play this poorly in a playoff game I can't see him not getting the hook.
d_wag Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 pic for TD.....he's really really horrible
Brandon Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 3/12 for 33 yards and 3 INTs just before halftime.
bills44 Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Don't remember who it was, but back in October, someone here was arguing with me about how Grossman was so much better than Losman.
rednecksbasketball Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I dont see Lovie Smith pulling a Wade Phillips type manuever. Grossman is their guy, atleast for this year.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 It likely doesn't matter since the Bears aren't going past the NFCCG. Losing Tommie Harris was a huge blow, and their QB's are bad. But when they DO get bounced, Lovie is going to be getting it all off-season for not starting the other QB.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I liken it almost to the denver situation. Although a little different. You have a vet qb in griese who's good enough to win some games, but he can't be a difference maker, maybe if the bears still had tommie harris and the bears defense was playing at the level they were earlier in the year, but at this point The bears should stick with grossman who is still learning on the job. This is only his full 1st year starting. He's a talented guy who makes some mistakes and doesnt have good offensive talent around him, but his upside is much bigger then grieses.
