SDS
Just noticed: Are the blogs gone forever? when I purchased the blog software, I didn't realize I had to pony up money every year it to get the updates. So, right now it is unsecure and incompatible w/ this version unless I pay for another upgrade. Now, it wouldn't be so bad if it was utilized, but it never took off as intended (last post of any kind was in October). Perhaps it was a good idea with a poor implementation. We still have the data, but unless someone makes a compelling case to bring it back - I don't see the point in wasting the money.

In space no one can hear
I like everything about this board and appreciate your efforts in making this the best possible forum. There is one thing missing... though. I have never asked for anything before.....but could you please... add some dancing Bananas to the emoticon list? Some Examples The dancing banana is the king of all emoticons..... and without it this board/forum will never be complete. Thank you for your consideration. Dibs
Is it just coincidence for me(& my computer) or does it take a fair bit longer for each page to load than it did before the upgrade? Anybody else experiencing slow loading times?
UConn James
Nah, it was a good idea, good implementation, but the users failed with not updating their blogs (mine included). Guilty as charged, your honor. But yes, the blogs were just not utilized enough to warrant them. Most people put their LAMP stuff on 'Off the Wall' anyway.... and that seemed to sort itself out. Not just you, load time has been horrible for me since the upgrade. Granted, I still use dial-up, but it is tremendously slower since the upgrade. Nanker
Not me. It takes about the same amount of time to get loaded as it always has.

Get with the program, Ann!
SDS
the load times on the server are as good, if not better, than before. So, the question is - is it just more data being sent (I don't think so), or is there a problem with your browser and the javascript, etc... I'll look into it. AiO
do they just reimburse you? Why not reimburse you for a faster service? No, I never pay anything. About 10 years ago, they gave me a disk, a password and a phone number and said "Here you go! Free internet service." So obviously, I have no idea what the deal is. I'm not sure about slower, but it crashes Mozilla all the time (I don't use Firefox, but suppose maybe I should switch to that....)
