Rico Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Unless my eyes are deceiving me (and I don't think they are) the Patsies don't have a single player on the Pro Bowl roster. 872458 Richard Seymour... the only one.
loadofmularkey Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Richard Seymour... the only one. 872461 Damn. My eyes deceived me.
Rico Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Schein just said again "the biggest snub, bar none, was London Fletcher". He gave props to Al Wilson, so his problem is with Zach Girlyman.
deadbeef Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 moorman and Schobel get the nod 872415 And more importantly the bills have more pro bowlers than any other AFC east team. Does this make them the most talented in the AFC east? Fletcher should have gone and Evans and Clements can't be too far out either.
RJsackedagain Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Wait a minute, no TO??? Oh say it ain't so!!! ... guess leading the league in drops and suicide attempts in a season isn't worth what it used to be
ganesh Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Wait a minute, no TO??? Oh say it ain't so!!! ... guess leading the league in drops and suicide attempts in a season isn't worth what it used to be 872469 I am already hearing the rant by Michael Irwin as to how it is a travesty that TO is not going to the pro-bowl.
Captain Hindsight Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 how did willie parker make it??? isnt he averging 60 yrds a game on the road, pretty pedestian wouldnt you say?
ganesh Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 how did willie parker make it??? isnt he averging 60 yrds a game on the road, pretty pedestian wouldnt you say? 872473 He just killed the Panthers last week on the road.....The guy has had a special season under trying circumstances.....He deserves the pro-bowl vote.
MDH Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 how did willie parker make it??? isnt he averging 60 yrds a game on the road, pretty pedestian wouldnt you say? 872473 1331 yards and 11 TDs will generally do the trick. LT, LJ and Parker, I can't think of three better AFC backs this year.
jarthur31 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 What about Fletcher? That's disappointing. 872419 He got jobbed here. He's not a prima donna. TKO gets in not only for his play but he sticks out on every play he makes, London never has.
Mile High Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 On NFL Radio, they just plugged Lee Evans, saying he should have gone over Andre Johnson. 872421 At first glance that was my original thought.
Dan Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Big congrats to Schobel and Moorman! Maybe Fletcher will take out is frustration on the Titans this weekend and show everyone, yet again, why he should have been selected!
kenny3000 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 phil rivers huh? i guess not tom brady nor steve mcnair nor chad pennington. i just dont see it. i had this guy as my fantasy starter (not that that means much) except i saw his performance week in and week out. and honestly, i just thought that this was a bad pick. i even think that david carr outplayed him this year. what exactly did he do? and dont say win games, because his teammates did that. yes he didnt lose games but last time i checked a probowler was someone that made an impact and a difference, not just managed games and handed the ball off to one of if not the best rbs of all time. next part of my rant is tony romo. what is the infatuation with this annoying looking guy. i think hes a very good qb but ive just heard so much crap about this guy and then he has this horrendous grin on his face everytime i see him and it just bothers me. only one i can come up with that should have made it over him is maybe brett favre or ron mexico, but that might even be a stretch. i dont know, maybe im just upset about london and lee not making it, but i just read the selections and was unhappy. bad feeling in my stomach. i hope they have it too, because we need that to finish as strong as possible and build on it next year. because if phil f-ing rivers and tony romo can make the probowl then anyone can.
kenny3000 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 you know what, disregard my previous post. i just had an epiphany. the probowl is just like the oscar awards. the actors rarely get recognized when they actually deserve it for a role. they get it afterwards when the academy realizes they screwed up and then give denzel washington the oscar for training day or halle berry for monsters ball when they were clearly better in past roles. all that matters is wins in this game, f the fancy awards.
AJ1 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Tony Romo made it Tom Bady didn't Phillip Rivers did (huh? is this guy anything without LT??) 872416 All-pro for throwing on field sh!tfits.
The Jokeman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Evans has 4 less yards then Johnson, but like 17 less catches. Also one more TD. Besides, how many of his yards are "garbage" time yards? Obviously when you're team stinks you'll have to air it out in the 2nd half. I'm really interested to see how many yards Johnson has in games their losing in the 2nd half. 872430 If take a look at their game logs Johnson has been more consistant game in game out and not to mention he got off to a great start of the season as one of the best WRs the first few weeks of the season.
The Jokeman Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 how did willie parker make it??? isnt he averging 60 yrds a game on the road, pretty pedestian wouldnt you say? 872473 But look at his numbers at home. Two 200 plus yard games, not to mention he's the 3rd leading rusher in the AFC.
Ozymandius Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Bills have the best punting team in the league: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamst.php This is in no small part due to Moorman, of course.
Ozymandius Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Bills have the 5th best sacking team in the league: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/dl.php This is in no small part due to Schobel, of course.
Hammond Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 Aaron Schobel makes the pro bowl and Dwight Freeney Doesn't? LOL...........This is another clear sign of the apocalypse. Wow! Hmmmm, I feel bad that Lee Evans didnt make it though. I would take him over Andre Johnson any day. And how does A-Johnson start over Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne?
