USMCBillsFan
My daughter has noticed little holes in some of her clothes since going off to college. She thinks they may be clothing moths. Moth balls stink and I've heard that cedar chips work or a cedar block. She says she keeps her room and drawers clean and vacuumed out. I'm not so sure but does anyone know any other wives tales for ridding yourself of moths? I've never had the problem so I'm not sure. I tried google and can't really find much and most pages won't open at work.. Thanks for any info you have.
dib
Moths dont eat the cloth, the larvae do. Cedar is supposed to work, but if possible (depending on the humidity) clean the garmets and place them in plastic bags designed for the purpose. Beerball
Here is a solution for her that doesn't involve moth balls. Moths will go after wool. If she's having problems with other materials she's got another problem. Could be ants? Could be crappy washing machines? Detergent? Bleach? linky

USMCBillsFan
Thanks. I think it's mainly cotton that she's finding holes in so I guess that rules out moths. I guess it's those top of the line washers and dryers in the dorms...
