Losman of Buffalo this weekend, and two of those were signal-callers who didn't even start in their respective teams' games. But in a 21-0 victory over Miami, a fast-maturing Losman authored another outstanding outing and continued to emerge as a solid starter.Losman completed 13 of 19 passes for 200 yards, with three touchdown passes, no interceptions and a career-best passer rating of 142.5, as the Bills evened their record at 7-7. Coach Dick Jauron has done a terrific job in Buffalo this season and first-year offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild has been masterful in his tutelage of Losman, who has started all 14 games after logging only eight starts his first two seasons. Unless you're a lifelong Bills' fans, the emergence of Losman has probably escaped your notice. But Buffalo has now won four of five and Losman has played a huge role. Sunday marked his second straight game with a passer rating of 140.0 or better. It was only his sixth game in 21 starts in which he threw for 200 yards or more and his fifth game with a passer rating of 100.0 or better, but he is clearly beginning to manage the offense more efficiently. Guess JP was a slow learner but it took a while to understand all the offensive genius MM was passing on. I was impressed that MM demonstrated such offensive brilliance yesterday. Joey Harrington is so lucky to have him. 870564[/snapback] The Steelers and the Bills have to thank the Bills and Miami for taking Mularkey off their hands and not allowing to mentor Ben or Losman. When the Bills took Mularkey from the steelers, they drafted Ben and he went on to have a cinderalla 2 seasons before he won the superbowl. The growth of Losman was stunted while Mularkey was with the team, and now that he is gone, it allowed his growth into a NFL starter to happen.... Thank you Miami for taking MUlarkey off our hands.
