Jonathan Paul Losman Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 I have created a five-step plan on the easiest way to get in. Here it is: 1. SD def. KC (COMPLETED) 2. KC def. OAK 3. CIN def. DEN 4. MIAMI def. NYJ 5. KC def. JAX This leaves CIN in 5th and BUF in 6th. The other option is passing CIN. In that situation, we would need: 1. SD def. KC (COMPLETED) 2. INDY def CIN (COMPLETED) 3. DEN def. CIN 4. NE def. JAX 5. MIAMI def. NYJ That puts DEN in 5th and BUF in 6th. There you have it. And all this is assuming we win out.
SDS Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 if this is true - that is a totally plausible scenario (#1)... Who woulda thunk it?
Jonathan Paul Losman Posted December 18, 2006 Author Posted December 18, 2006 if this is true - that is a totally plausible scenario (#1)... Who woulda thunk it? 870316 Biggest non-Bills game of the year is Miami vs. NY Jets.
SHOUTBOX MONSTER! Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Biggest non-Bills game of the year is Miami vs. NY Jets. 870320 Amen to that. It would be nice if the Colts can win Monday night to keep both scenarios in play.
BuffOrange Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Biggest non-Bills game of the year is Miami vs. NY Jets. 870320 The following words just came out of my mouth in a talk w/ my brother: I hope Miami plays Harrington next week. I mean, that sounds pretty ridiculous when you want Miami to win

YOOOOOO Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Man is there any way this current Bills team can go back and play some of those 1st half loses.... or is there no re-try's in this league??
Corp000085 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Man is there any way this current Bills team can go back and play some of those 1st half loses....or is there no re-try's in this league?? 870403 if we could do that, we'd have the division wrapped up by now...
frogger Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 so if NE wins out-possible Indy revenges last weeks loss-possible Jax continues to play bad-possible Miami revenges their mistakes and defeat the Jets,-hopefully possible I am hoping that mcnair doesn't play us the last week and have already clinched a bye...that would set up a steeler like game...hopefully we can win there is a chance, but first we have to beat Tenn. lets go ahead and say this is a travis henry vs willis game, lets not think about the playoffs and lets hope that Mcgahee is up for the challenge
nero47 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 If the following happens this coming sunday our bills will occupy the last wild card slot going into the final week: Bills def Tenn 1.)Mia def NYJ (we have strength of victory adv) 2.)NE def jax (We own head to head) 3.)KC def Oak (We own Conference record) 4.)Cinn def Den (KC beats out Denv in Div, go back to 3) All Plausible. Great way to into Final week.
East Brady Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Both of Jacks. running backs were injuried yesterday...... Taylor pulled hammy and is prob. done for awhile ... Jones Drew lower leg injury late in game , never returned limped pretty badly.... Jags are TOAST.....Del Rio's teams choke late......GO BILLS!!!!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 are you sure we would own the tie breaker over Denver?
/dev/null Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Biggest item on the Bills plan...win their next 2 games All this what if TeamA beats TeamB and TeamC loses or ties at least once banter is irrellevant unless the Bills beat Tennessee and Baltimore
pBills Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 However, I like seeing if Team A beats, Team B, then = Football makes math that much better.
Ozymandius Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 The other option is passing CIN. In that situation, we would need: 1. SD def. KC (COMPLETED) 2. INDY def CIN 3. MIAMI def. NYJ 4. DEN def. Are you sure we win that tiebreaker with Cincy on strength of victory? My calcs have Cincy ahead.
Ozymandius Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Actually, you're right. My bad. We should have strength of victory advantage over Cincy if everything we need to happen happens. But it'll be close. Buffalo victories with projected wins for those teams: 1. Miami, 6-8, vs Jets/@Indy..... 7 or 8 wins (Indy should have nothing to play for) 2. Minnesota, 6-8, @GB/vs Stl..... 7 wins 3. GB, 6-8, vs Min/@Chi..... 7 or 8 wins (Chi has nothing to play for) 4. Hou, 4-10, vs Indy/vs Cle..... 4 or 5 wins 5. Jax, 8-6, vs NE/at KC..... 8 or 9 wins 6. Jets, 8-6, at Mia/vs Oak..... 9 wins 7. Miami, 6-8, vs Jets/@Indy..... 7 or 8 wins (Indy should have nothing to play for) 8. Ten, 7-7, at Buf/vs NE..... 7 or 8 wins (NE should have nothing to play for) 9. Bal, 11-3, at Pit/vs Buf..... 11 wins Buffalo's projected strength of victory: 67 to 73 wins Cincy's victories with projected wins for those teams: 1. KC, 7-7, at Oak/vs Jax..... 9 wins 2. Cle, 4-10, vs TB/at Hou..... 5 or 6 wins 3. Pit, 7-7, vs Bal/at Cin..... 8 wins 4. Car, 6-8, at Atl/at NO..... 6 or 7 wins (NO might have nothing to play for) 5. NO, 9-5, at NYG/vs Car..... 10 or 11 wins (NO might have nothing to play for vs Car) 6. Cle, 4-10, vs TB/at Hou..... 5 or 6 wins 7. Bal, 11-3, at Pit/vs Buf..... 11 wins 8. Oak, 2-12, KC/at NYJ..... 2 wins 9. Pit, 7-7, vs Bal/at Cin..... 8 wins Cincy's projected strength of victory: 64 to 68 wins
marauderswr80 Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Biggest non-Bills game of the year is Miami vs. NY Jets. 870320 Yeah I agree with that! What about the game tonight with Colts & Cincy....we need Cincy to lose. Id rather have 2 wild card spots wide open then just one...... I agree thought, I think the Jets Miami game is f-ing huge! Go Phins.......
AJ1 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Scenarios updated! 872344 Right now I have more belief that the Bills will beat Baltimore than Miami beats the Jets. Is Miss Cleo the Miami QB or will Joey be de-shell-shocked in time?, I'm afraid of the Dolphins lying down like dogs. unless Harrington is rehabilitated quickly.
