bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 as i look at how this team is progressing I see the major needs of a stud DT, LB, Big Wide receiver and a big RG. Nate is proving why he deserves the big paycheck but if we get a chance for all pro Guard or DT might be okay to lose him
DrDawkinstein Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 i agree with you totally except i say get that all pro FA AND sign nate. we're second in cap room, there are no excuses for not putting out the best possible product.
ajzepp Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 The only good (i.e. acceptable) reason for not signing Nate is if he's just determined to leave no matter what. I don't think that will be the case, though. I think he wants to get paid, and dammit we should pay him.
Rubes Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I tell you, I'm not sure I want to rely on K. Thomas as a starter, but he's a player.

Royal having 2 good games doesn't change that for me (remember Campbell vs. the Rams a couple years ago?)

Royal having 2 good games doesn't change that for me (remember Campbell vs. the Rams a couple years ago?) 869725[/snapback] Keep in mind, though, two things: 1) Royal is an excellent blocker, and 2) Royal's production in the passing game has been severely limited by the fact that we've had to contract the playbook for JP and the O-line. Now that the line is coming together and performing well, we're able to do more multiple-receiver sets and to send Royal out more. As a result, he will (and is) increase his production.

Nothing fancy, common, Marv.
DrDawkinstein Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 yeah, im cool with the TEs. we dont have a krumpler or gates but if we get a big number 2 WR we wont have to rely on TE that much anyways.
JStranger76 Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 The insides of both lines, just like the beginning of the season. DT, both guards. I could care less after that. Of course, keep all our own. ALL OF EM'.
BuffOrange Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Ahemm, so yeah, do we agree that Royal sucks now?
