Frez Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I'm hoping to see Lee Evans catch his first pair of TD's today. This kid is damn good. He looks like he's a 3rd year player. I hope Mularkey is smart enough to put him on the field today instead of Josh Reed or Bobby Shaw. Lee Evans and Willis = win
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 After last weekend, Mularkey has no choice BUT to put Evans no the field. McGahee OTOH remains to be seen. I hope he gets more PT, as does Euhus.
JayFromDC Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 They say they don't want an RB controversy so what the hell did you draft the kid for then??
BilzFanGA Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Me too. These kids are playmakers and it's time to see what the youngsters can do since their veteran counterparts aren't exactly holdng up their end of the bargain.
Thailog80 Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I will not get excited about this team until we are at least .500. Anything less is unexceptable. WE deserve it.

Thailog80 Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I get excited just seeing them in their uniforms. 63282 Ummmm......Okaaaaay.
cåblelady Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Ummmm......Okaaaaay. 63283 Doesn't take much, does it ?
Thailog80 Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Doesn't take much, does it ? 63284 Something about Pat Williams and Sam Adams in Football pants juuuuust doesn't do it for me.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Oh and another thing to be excited about: Prioleau starting over Wire. I like Wire as a person, but it's clear he's not a SS, or even anything other than a ST'er.
Indy Dave Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Lee Evans...Tim Euhus...Joe Burns....I don't care. If someone on our offense scores two TDs today, that will be great with me. That would mean our offense produced more than 10 points. You are right though....Evans is better than Reed and should play every snap. Reed should be battling for the No. 3 receiver, not No. 2.
Triumph the Dog Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 I would like anyone on our offense to show us that they HAVE A PAIR!!!!!!!

JStranger76 Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 The only time Reed should play is in 3 and 4 reciever sets. Rotating Evans and Reed makes us too predictable.
Spiderweb Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 The only time Reed should play is in 3 and 4 reciever sets. Rotating Evans and Reed makes us too predictable. 63390 As much as I wish it weren't true, Reed has played himself out of the number 2 WR and should be relegated to the slot period. He just doesn't seem to have the ability to beat a CB. In his rookie year, he seemed to be able to work the middle from the slot effectively so this should be where he gets his last chance.
