woopdie doo.  Edwards doesnt have a chance this time around.  He is wasting his time and money.  Bayh was smart.  With Obama/Clinton, nobody else really has a chance

I don't think that is totally true, it should be interesting, but HRC doesn't have my vote and the Obama band wagon had yet to hit any bumps in the road and responded to them effectively. Until that happens, the jury is out. Look what happened to Dean.

Front runners beware! Especially, this early in the game...there are way too many unseen potholes waiting for a good snow melt or rain to be uncovered.

Eh, Clintons only downside is electability. And democrats havent seemed to care about that in their nominations recently. Personally, I think Hillary CAN win a national election, but I anyone who is scared of that will look elsewhere. Thats where Obama needs to push. The difference between the two (from what I know), seems to be more style than substance. The guy I really wanted to see in this race from the democratic side (Mark Warner) has already bowed out.

Do you mean in the Democratic primary, or in the subsequent general election? IMO, that ticket is far too left-wing/socialist to win in the general election.

The democrat nominee will be Al Gore, and he will probably select Bayh as his VP.

If he runs against McCain, he will win, perhaps easily.

This isn't my choice mind you.....just callin 'em the way I see 'em. :wallbash:

In that case, I think you need to see your ophthalmologist, Bill.

:(

And it's waaaay too early to start calling the nominations. A year is an eternity in politics.

Sorry to hear that Bayh dropped out. He is a good, conscientious man in the mold of some of the past Dems like Hubert Humphrey and Walter Mondale, or recently, Joe Leiberman.

Also Gary Hart...too bad that picadello jumped on by the paparazzi press with Donna Rice deep-sixed him.

I shake my head at the current Dem Party's illumaniti...Sharperson, Schumer, Hillary, Spitzer in NY, Reid, Pelosi. What a change...what hollow people...

And as it turned out, Rice has become quite a worthy citizen...good person doing good work.
