toeknee24 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Why would they ask for an extension??? The only thing that makes sense is that they had a buyer lined up & it fell through?
Alaska Darin Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 They were hoping Golisano would bail them out.
taterhill Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 4 big businesses could not come together and buy 1000 each? What a shame....

Johnny Coli Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 BB.com says there are 4,000 left. 867973[/snapback] So they outsold 19 other ballclubs yet it's still not enough for the NFL to let the people from WNY see their football team on TV. Pretty weak.
Arkady Renko Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Because the Bills future depends on its ability to attract fans to the actual games and generate local revenues, I am not sure why we should worry so much about the policy of the blackout rule.
LabattBlue Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I am not so sure why so many people(led by the WGR schmucks) are upset about the games being blacked out. This is not a new policy, has happened many times before, and in games that actually were important(Houston v. Bills greatest comeback game). The fact that games are being blacked out in ANOTHER season that will fall short of the playoffs should not surprise or upset anyone. You want to see it, buy a ticket. If not, go Christmas shopping. I'll see you at the mall!
