Tux of Borg Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 For me it's Lord of the Rings... for some reason I just can't get into it.
/dev/null Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 For me it's Lord of the Rings... for some reason I just can't get into it. 867253 I don't like LOTR either. 867260 You both = RJ I hate Disney movies
meazza Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 For me it's Lord of the Rings... for some reason I just can't get into it. 867253 I refuse to watch titanic. LOTR wasn't too crazy. Rocky VI sucks and I haven't even seen it yet.
Chilly Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 The English Patient 867271 Sack Lunch > TEP
meazza Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Sack Lunch > TEP 867282 You're fired.
Fezmid Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I don't like LOTR either. 867260 You're dead to me.
Gary M Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I refuse to watch titanic. 867274 Why see a movie if you already know the ending
meazza Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Why see a movie if you already know the ending 867320 I knew Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father before I saw EP II.
/dev/null Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I knew Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father before I saw EP II. 867332 So did most people considering Episode II (Send in the Clones - 2002) came out 22 years after Episode IV (Empire Strikes Back - 1980)
/dev/null Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Daddy Day Care. 867339 There were people that loved that movie
drnykterstein Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Office Space I hate LOTR, but not because it sucks but because it was really disloyal to the books. Really disloyal. Other than that they are good movies.. and I can get into them.
meazza Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 So did most people considering Episode II (Send in the Clones - 2002) came out 22 years after Episode IV (Empire Strikes Back - 1980) 867362 No. I meant, because I saw SW for the first time when I was 13, and just by chance, I watched EP IV, then I watched the simpsons where Homer walks out of the movie theater and says, "wow, what an ending, who would have thought Darth Vader was Luke Skywalker's father."
CosmicBills Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 There were people that loved that movie 867363 Hahahaha! Gotta give VA credit for that one. That's going way back in TSW history. I forget the exact thread, but it was something about movies and someone (wasn't it you VA?) had shunned a lot of good films. Then when pressed about what films they actually like, they said: "Daddy Day Care". And as for me, the two movies I can't stand: "Magnolia" Ugh.... And "Lost in Translation".
Buftex Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Jeez, I think I hate about 99 per-cent of the movies that are loved..."Titanic", "Forrest Gump", any movie with Robin Williams or Jim Carey (sept maybe "World According to Garp"), and any Pixar production come most immediately to mind...
