Satan Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Yeah way to go........ That only cost us 2 runs so far......... stevestojan 63063 Deep down, you know how this will all end up. It will be easier if you don't try to fight it.
Satan Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 BF are you really quoting yourself in your sig line...?that's....just...pathetic... 63118 Yes it is. Especially when it's such a stupid quote.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 It was kind of a bet. A couple people thought it was so funny that I told them I would put it up there and leave it up there for a year if the Cardinals lost in the playoffs. They won't so I will take it down after we win the series.

BF_in_Indiana Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 And when they lose> What then? 63233 They aren't losing, didn't you see me say that??? If they lose I have to leave that signature line up for a year.
JinVA Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 They aren't losing, didn't you see me say that??? If they lose I have to leave that signature line up for a year. 63368 Then what?
Generation ME Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 It was kind of a bet. A couple people thought it was so funny that I told them I would put it up there and leave it up there for a year if the Cardinals lost in the playoffs. BF_in_Indiana Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 How many people here refer to the Bills in the "we" context??? It's so funny that people try to say something like that when it suits them, but they are the same ones that would refer to their team as "we".
Lori Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 How many people here refer to the Bills in the "we" context??? It's so funny that people try to say something like that when it suits them, but they are the same ones that would refer to their team as "we". 63437 Got a point there. I try not to do it, but it's just easier to type it that way than to keep typing "the Bills". And considering how many of my co-workers expect me to answer for the team's gameplanning, player personnel decisions, etc., it was an easy habit to fall into.....
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 Well in reality Lori, it is "we". Fans drive the game. No fans, no teams.......so as a fan who goes to the game you have a financial interest in the Buffalo Bills or the Bonnies or whoever. So in my eyes it is "we".
Generation ME Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Blah, blah, blah. I heard you the first time. Thanks for the edjamacation.
Lori Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 That's funny BF, I thought you were talking to me with that last post.... ah well.... Point taken, although like I said, it's something I try to avoid when possible. But that's just me.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 Well I don't really do it conciously, it's more of a subconcious thing for me. I do it without even giving it a thought. It's just natural. Note: I'm still talking to LORI.
