CFLstyle Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 A lot of people seem to think this way. I love the jerseys to be honest with you and the only reason the throwbacks are so popular is that we only use them twice a year. If we used them every agme they wouldn't be so great.
bisonbrigade Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Call me crazy, but they are starting to grow on me. I guess that winning makes them look better. I do like the retro look though. I dont like the home(blue) jersey with blue pants. They look like a high school team.
cåblelady Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 please give us the throwbacks next year! 862446 NO!
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 They're great when they stick to blue on blue and white on white. It's when they mix and match the jersey and pants colors that they look like asshats.
bluv Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I always kind of liked this look 862471 Agreed wholeheartedly!
/dev/null Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Call me crazy, but they are starting to grow on me. I guess that winning makes them look better. I do like the retro look though. They look like a high school team. 862458 they don't look as bad to me as they used to. but i wouldn't say they're growing on me. more like the rest of the NFL is catching up anyone seen the titans or bengals uniforms lately?
jester43 Posted December 11, 2006 Author Posted December 11, 2006 They're great when they stick to blue on blue and white on white. It's when they mix and match the jersey and pants colors that they look like asshats. 862468 BUT, they were intended to be worn as either a blue jersey and white pants or vice versa...it wasn't until the 2nd year that they started wearing all blue and and/or all white. and when they wear the single colors, the stripes on the side are mismatched anyway. the whole thing is a big cluster!@#$ and needs to be replaced. they just look ridiculous.
bisonbrigade Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Just go back to the 80's look. Classic! I dont mind the retro twice a year.
loadofmularkey Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 BUT, they were intended to be worn as either a blue jersey and white pants or vice versa...it wasn't until the 2nd year that they started wearing all blue and and/or all white. and when they wear the single colors, the stripes on the side are mismatched anyway. the whole thing is a big cluster!@#$ and needs to be replaced. they just look ridiculous. 862521 If I remember right they did start wearing blue on blue that first season (also Bledsoe's first year) in 2002. Infact I know they did. Incidentally, the Titans new pants look like footie pajamas.
bobblehead Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Just getting rid of those red stripes down the sides of the shirts will go a long way. Then, de-rainbowing the top of the red helmet and go back to something close to how it was will go even further.
willis da illest Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I only like the aways....the home blue's are 2 wack.
bisonbrigade Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I only like the aways....the home blue's are 2 wack. 862547 As I said The blu jerseys and blue pants look like a high school team. The only thing worse is the Seahawks blue with blue.
BuffOrange Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Looked like both teams were determined to sport their ugliest uni's possible.
bisonbrigade Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Looked like both teams were determined to sport their ugliest uni's possible. 862556 I guess when the Bills look ugly they play with a mean streak. I guess when the Jets look ugly they play ugly.
/dev/null Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Looked like both teams were determined to sport their ugliest uni's possible. 862556 Just wait til we play Tennessee. Our Blue on Blue home unis vs their white on powder blue pajama pants
clownments22 Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I like the Uni's actually. 862582 me too, fan in san diego. from what i've heard, the players like the blue on blue, so that's why they wear it. i really don't see what the big deal is. i think the uniforms look fine. they're still conservative, it's not like the broncos or bengals with crazy stripes going all over the place. get over it already, we've been wearing these uniforms for four years now!
jester43 Posted December 11, 2006 Author Posted December 11, 2006 get over it already, we've been wearing these uniforms for four years now! 862601 i know...and i feel like i've paid my dues
