KurtGodel77 Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Dr. Z wrote that our game against New England "was Buffalo's Super Bowl." He should have written that the game was "Buffalo's AFC Championship Game," because we are 4-0 in AFC Championship Games.
Lori Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 ummm.... 4-1, but I like the sentiment anyway. And Z has hit us with the SI jinx before, picking us to win some of those Super Bowls. Ought to send him a nasty e-mail about that.
LewPort71 Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 When was the loss in the AFC championship game ?? Cincy ??
Lori Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 When was the loss in the AFC championship game ?? Cincy ?? 62776[/snapback] Yup. Aaron, he did say "AFC", but the '66 AFL Championship loss is duly noted as well.
KurtGodel77 Posted October 10, 2004 Author Posted October 10, 2004 For some reason I thought that Cincy loss was in the divisional round. I guess I was wrong.
Guest belmont john Posted October 10, 2004 Posted October 10, 2004 Actually, I think the Bills loss to Tennessee in the "miracle" game was worse than any superbowl loss including the one against the Giants. I'm convinced that our defense that year could have neutralized the Rams.
