Hopefully he'll work himself into more playing time next year.

He was just a victim of some bad events--he got hurt, came back for like, 2 days, and then his mother died. He was responsible about it, and instead of rushing back to the team, he stayed with his family until they were alright, and missed most of camp because of it. The coaches wouldn't have put him in yesterday if he didn't understand the defense enough to play....so I'd say it's safe to say that an offseason's work will do this kid alot of good.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Seems like we get alot of guys who lose significant parts of their rookie seasons. Losman, McGahee, Roscoe, Everett, McCargo, Youboty...other than Willis, just bad luck.
