Dr. Trooth Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 dr. tooth, lay off the laughing gas brother. drafting a RB before another WR? are you freakin nuts? Yeah, "I'm freakin nuts", but, just sit back and watch what unfolds in the offseason. Bills are just spinning their wheels with Willis. Jauron knows it, Marv knows it, and more importantly, Ralph knows it. Those three also know that once you get a real back in there, its what makes the offense go and the WRs suddenly have more space to do their thing... see KC with LJ, see SD, with LT. Remind me again who the starting WRs are for KC and SD... Chumps. Don't forget to stop by after the draft and free agency and give the doc props for calling it.
CFLstyle Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 KC and SD aren't exactly Superbowl Champs are they? Yeah, the Chargers are in good shape but they havn't won anything yet and don't forget they have the best fullback in the NFL. Shelton isn't half of what Lorenzo Neal is. Not that I'm saying Willis is as good as LT, just throwing that in there. And you're talking about rare special backs like Larry Johnson and Ladainian Tomlinson, last time I checked there's no way that there's an LJ or LT in the next draft, we don't have the opportunity to acquire a player of their caliber. McGahee is better than a lot of running backs in this league so unless we have a Reggie Bush kind of pick available, we would be smart with Willis. What if you get your wish and we dump Willis, then we end up with someone like Cadillac Williams or Chester Taylor, or Warrick Dunn? Or better yet a LaMont Jordan or Cedric Houston/Kevan Barlow/Leon Washington dilemna?
