Frez Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 QB Drew Bledsoe is 2-11 in his last 13 road games with the Bills, and now comes a trip to the Meadowlands where the Bills were throttled 30-3 last season. Bledsoe was sacked seven times and failed to throw a TD pass. He was asked if there is a sense of desperation right now, at 0-3. "I try not to look at it that way, as a sense of desperation," he said.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Oh, Bledsoe is 2-11 in "his" last 13 road games. Interesting.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Well, when your offense can only manage 10 points a game.... someones to blame. And, its not Kevin Gilbridge or Gregg Williams this time. 62654 Ah, so someone is to blame. Because afterall, an offense, much less a team, is made up of one player. Got it.
Guest It's the refs!!! Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Blame the refs. It's the refs fault!!! It's the refs fault!!!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Blame the refs. It's the refs fault!!! It's the refs fault!!! 62685 No, it's the players' fault for not making a play on a non-play like a non-catch and thus non-fumble. Chump.

Who was that marching the Bills down the field tothe Pats' 17-yard line last weekend, only to see Henry stumble on an easy 3rd and 2 pickup and then see Henry blow his assignment on a billsfanone 4th and 3 play? Bledsoe is not without blame, but when your team as a whole make 20X the mistakes he does, it's obviously not the fault of one guy. Ask yourself if Brady's team makes the same kinds of mistakes (or gets CALLED for the same kinds of mistakes), or does Brady just make everyone play better, and the coaches coach better?
Guest Creutzfeldt-Jacob Bills Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I agree. Bledsoe's footwork and agility are not unlike the staggering motion of a neurologically compromised cow.

Heck, name five? 62838 Well if one uses the Qb rating for this year, Bledsoe is in the middle of the pack. He's ahead of Steve McNair, Jake Plummer, Brad Johnson, Mark Brunnel, Jeff Garcia, Jake Deluhumme, and Trent Green, to name a few pro bowl, Co-MVP's and Super Bowl QB's that have actually played pretty poorly this year, but for some reason many here think that Bledsoe is playing the worst...go figure!

Guest Guest Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 Rob Johnson had a career QB rating of around 85...and your point is? 62850 It's not a perfect indicator of QB's, (the RJ argument is always brought up to somehow discredit the QB rating) but it clearly gives one a very good picture of the QB's performance. All the Qb's I've listed have played pretty poorly this year, or do you refute that? That's my point.
