Stevie Ray Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Gotta stop the run. Thats the #1 priority of the off season.
grog Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Hey we where down 17-0 and kept playing hard and made it a game, this teams been coming together, with a couple tweeks in the offseason and somemore time to gell I feel pretty good about next year 855543 Ditto

ExiledInIllinois Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Gotta stop the run. Thats the #1 priority of the off season. 855547 And that comes with a different D scheme...
JPL7 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 im thinking there was some dirty sh-- going on in the scrum for the onside kick that injured 42 for the Chargers. b/c schottenheimer had a really pissed off look on his face after that and when he shook hands with jaroun. i hope that is not the case.
Dan Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Gotta get aggressive on those final drives before the half. Those 7 points are huge at the end of the game. Then, they've got to donate heavily to the Referee's Christmas party. Because it's obvious the refs don'tcall the game equally for us and opposing teams. Do those 2 things, and we have a playoff run next year.
/dev/null Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 And that comes with a different D scheme... 855553 Didn't we just implement a different D scheme this year? And like our 3rd in like 5 years?

2003 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Isn't it a penalty for the coach to run onto the field and scream at the refs? 855563 could be. Chris Brown is even disgusted with the refs: THAT REF IN THE CORNER IS AWFUL!: How that ref couldn't see that was a touchdown by Price is unimaginable to me. He was right there and he still had to go to the back judge for a conference. Make a freakin' call! That guy called Peerless out on the sideline earlier. Unbelievable.
/dev/null Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Isn't it a penalty for the coach to run onto the field and scream at the refs? 855563 Depends on the coach Jauron = Penalty Schottenheimer = No Penalty Belichek = thank you note from the refs
jarthur31 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Gotta stop the run. Thats the #1 priority of the off season. 855547 Remember we had this problem then too and it was supposed to be taken care of then. Cept we signed a DT who only rushes the passer. I don't think it will be taken care of until we get a nose tackle who can take up space, IMO.
HurlyBurly51 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 And that comes with a different D scheme... 855553 BTW...why was Wire playing so much today? He got smoked on the long LT TD run
jarthur31 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 And that comes with a different D scheme... 855553 But coach doesn't see a problem with the one we have now. 200 yard rushing backs is normal.
jarthur31 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 BTW...why was Wire playing so much today? He got smoked on the long LT TD run 855585 Angelo left with an injury and didn't come back.
Stevie Ray Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Angelo left with an injury and didn't come back. 855596 Was Wire playing linebacker?
HurlyBurly51 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Was Wire playing linebacker? 855620 He was on the line and got smoked by a WR on that LT run. It was right at him and he allowed LT to waltz right on by and make his move unmolested to the 2nd level.
justnzane Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Was Wire playing linebacker? 855620 Yes. when Crowell went down, he(wire) was thrown into LB rotation
Stevie Ray Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Yes. when Crowell went down, he(wire) was thrown into LB rotation 855653 Wow, either the backups are all injured or they must suck extremely for Wire to be put in there!
HurlyBurly51 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Wow, either the backups are all injured or they must suck extremely for Wire to be put in there! 855658 I don't think it was all Wire. Ellison was in there at LB as well.
