BillsFanNC Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Pop country like my wife listens to sucks, I really can't stand it. Country-rock, or alt- country as it's often called is damn good. Bands like the Jayhawks, Uncle Tupelo, the Old 97's and older Wilco are worth checking out.
sweet baboo Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 No saddle required I hear she loves it bare back. 61553 i'm at a loss for words
stuckincincy Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Why are your concert days long over? I still enjoy going to concerts. I even enjoy the occasional country music concert. Okay, by occasional, I mean the only one I've ever been to: Reba McEntire and Billy Dean, about 7 years ago. 61533 Too much volume, and song lyrics I don't relate to. Incessant downbeat (duh-DUH, duh-DUH, duh-DUH-DUH-DUH etc.). I realize that that is a broad generalization. Crowd deportment.

HtownBillsFan Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Im going to the Buffalo show on Sat, I hope its good. Do u any chance remember the set list?
aussiew Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 You're a single woman in Texas who can complete a full sentence, Gidge. You have more to gain from dancing to it than just listening to it. Complimented appreciated. And speaking of gains, when a woman does the country three step, she puts her hand on her partner's waist So, it's not my fault if my hand happens to slide a little. Those tight jeans look just as good on a guy you know.
Paco Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Those tight jeans look just as good on a guy you know. wink.gif Uhhhh...actually I don't know. But I'll take your word for it. Do guys who dance to country wear Jordache jeans?
stuckincincy Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 For those very same reasons, I guess your days of going to football games are over as well, right? 61587 Yes. The last one I attended was at Three Rivers in 1988, against Houston IIRC. I visit the odd HS game, and go to a Univ. of Cincinnati game now and then. I have fond memories of PSU games (my wife went to grad school there when we were dating), and 'Bama a long time ago when I lived in Birmingham - Legion Field games - never got to see one in Tuscaloosa - "Roll, Tide, Rolllll!!!!"
Guest Guest Hank Williams Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 I'd do her. 61546 You're so desperate you'd do a pool filter.
R. Rich Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 How bad is it when Hank Williams calls you desperate?
Rico Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 You're so desperate you'd do a pool filter. 61664
stevestojan Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 You're so desperate you'd do a pool filter. 61664 You'd be surprised.
rockpile Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 I'd do her. 61546 Right. When you are around the crack of dawn ain't safe!
aussiew Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Do guys who dance to country wear Jordache jeans? Any self respecting dancin' cowboy wouldn't be caught dead without his starched Wranglers.
ACor58 Posted October 8, 2004 Author Posted October 8, 2004 Im going to the Buffalo show on Sat, I hope its good. Do u any chance remember the set list? 61588 Not off of the top of my head, but the encore was great.
theesir Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Man, that q-tip comment sounds painful. But I would go to a Country concert for no other reason than the chicks. They are dressed in tight jeans and half shirts.... I love girls who love country. 61525 The only problem with this is they are girls who LISTEN TO COUNTRY MUSIC. When alone with them, you would have to listen to COUNTRY MUSIC!!!!
stuckincincy Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 So would he, I'd bet. 62087 You win the forum Wry Award. Hands down.
Paco Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Any self respecting dancin' cowboy wouldn't be caught dead without his starched Wranglers. 61809 No self-respecting dancin' cowboy would refer to his Wranglers as "starched."
