3rd string QB and occasional RB/WR/ST player for the Jets.

I'll go out on a limb and presume he meant Brad Johnson.

Of course he did, but he did not think it worth his while to re-read his writing, or to think about what he was saying.

And we are supposed to place any value whatsoever in his draft predictions? Ye Gods!

It's got nothing to do with being smart one way or the other. It is a matter of respect for oneself and others.... Ah forget it, I made my effort in the other thread.... :censored:

I don't think he cares if someone values his draft predictions. Like fantasy football, draft projections are pointless but some people have fun doing it.

I hear ya. Most talk should still be on the season but a little draft talk here and there isn't a big deal. :wallbash:

Well, if he didn't care if someone valued them, he would write them in dog-eared memo books kept in an old milk crate, or type them, single-spaced, on both sides of onion-skin paper with no margins, smudged with inky thumbprints, from which he would read aloud excerpts to himself, and perhaps to his collection of cardboard cutouts of the friends he never had.... Which is what people used to do with their bizarre fixations before there was an Internet.

Let's just say I believe his thoroughness in proofreading accurately reflects how much he cares about what anyone thinks of his hobby, which is to say not much. At any rate, not going to spend too much time defending some random dude on the internet, so think what you will.

Who the hell is Brad Smith?

Brad Smith is the man! Although he's a Jet he's the guy who quarterbacked my Missouri Tigers and set 69 NCAA, Big 12, or Team records in his 4 years.

RD3--Clark Harris, TE, Rutgers, 6-6, 255--Big TE who can block and catch. A big reason Rutgers got it done this year.

I don't think Harris will last this long. Being a RU fan, Harris has been underutilized this year, and was going into this season as the #2 tight-end in the country.

I talked to some 49'ers scouts this past weekend (they were at the RU game to see Brian Leonard) and asked about Harris. They said if he has a good senior bowl it might make him a 1st round pick.
