BuffOrange
@Oak 27-0 Tennessee 40-7 @SF 48-19 St. Louis 38-24 Only two losses vs. 7-5 and 9-2 teams on the road by 3 points. But they barely beat Oakland yesterday! Clearly this proves they're no good
Oneonta Buffalo Fan
I'd have to say 6 points is fairly respectable... when you consider how poorly we do against the Run... LT is going to kill us next week if you ask me... 850082 Exactly!
Tcali
I don't know about this kind of stuff. Can you explain that to me? How are they gauranteed to make money if there's even betting...wouldn't they be gauranteed to break even? 850147 Well--if one side is bet on greater than the other--and that heavily bet on team wins by greater than the betting margin---then the casino or whoever will have to pay out more money than they took in--even including the VIG. If the betting is fairly equal--then they at least make money on the VIG--which is the price people pay just to place the bet.
ThePebble19
To the original poster, Let's face the facts here...The Chargers are are one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the NFL this year, going up against us who has played average at best all year long. Sure, we are on a little streak, but it's two wins against the worst D in the league, and a team that is monumentally bad on the road. I'm not taking anything away from the JAX win, cause it was great, and was a definite morale booster, but SD is leagues ahead of Jacksonville. Dr. K
I prefer it this way. The Chargers should be heavily favored. I don't care about "respect." Let them beat the Chargers, and keep winning, and the respect will take care of itself. This is just another golden oppoprtunity for the Bills to prove themselves. SD is a very good team, but they're not demi-gods. They are not 60 point favorites. When the media jumps on board, watch out. What's their motivation? To get out of Buffalo as soon as possible. The Bills would love to take them down a notch and continue their march. This game means a ton more to the Bills.

How are they gauranteed to make money if there's even betting...wouldn't they be gauranteed to break even? 850147 They skim 10% off the top and distribute the balance to the betters. It's not true 100% payout. Racetracks use the same totalizers and balancers. Ask Am-Tote how this happens.
daquixers_is_back
Its less than a TD. The Chargers are 9-2. ALL NINE WINS have been by SEVEN or more points. Thats impressive.
