jayg Posted October 8, 2004 Posted October 8, 2004 Me, I'm going to watch the Steelers-Browns game in Pittsburgh. It was an anniversary gift from my Steeler fan Mother to me and my Steeler fan wife. Beyond that, I'm just going to kick back and enjoy having Monday off. I'm sure there will be some drinking involved, though I'm not sure when and how much. 61436 I'm still in Hawaii, been here since Sept. 21. I just changed my flight again and I'll be here until the 29th. I see some sandy beaches and a Bills game at 10AM this weekend. I know, rough life. Will be in OP for the Jes game.

Mark Vader Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 I'm getting ready for a great weekend of football. Saturday: 6 matchups between Top 25 teams. Oklahoma-Texas USC-California Michigan-Minnesota Georgia-Tennessee Wisconsin-Ohio State Florida-Louisiana State Then on to the big NFL matchups. Sunday Steelers-Browns Texans-Vikings Cowboys-Giants Chargers-Jaguars Seahawks-Rams And of course, watching the Bills get their much overdue 1st victory of the season against the Jets. God, I love football season. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!
Lori Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 A romantic weekend down in PA with a visit to the ELK country. I'm taping the game. 61467 Somehow, romance and the Benezette area don't seem to go together too well in my mind. (Not that part of PA, Gavin. Think Pennsyltucky redneck, not Amish. Yup, right in my neck of the woods.) Watch out for the rattlesnakes - the recent flooding down thataway might've washed them down the hillsides. And if you get down towards Quehanna, keep an eye out for the mutant deer out near Reactor Road..... Nah, seriously, hope you have a good time. As for me, I start 4-12s tomorrow. No trip to the Potter County Bicentennial celebration or Ellicotville Fall Fest, and no Bills game Sunday (although I'm sure I'll hear alllllllll about it from 7:00-11:30 Sunday night, if they lose)....
