Arkady Renko Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Binghamton's WBNG will be closest TV station showing the game. (In America at least).
The Senator Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Deadline pushed back to Friday @ 1:00 PM EST - I think in the past I remember them pushing it back even more - like late Friday afternoon - if they think it will make the difference.
Buftex Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Maybe if enought WNYers jam the Time Warner phone lines on Thanksgiving night, complaining about their lack of NFL TV, Time Warner will step up and buy the remaining tickets? Just a thought...I know they have done this a lot in other NFL markets.
cåblelady Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Time Warner will step up and buy the remaining tickets? 846219 We've already done that once this season already.
clownments22 Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 syracuse gets blacked out also? i thought they would be far enough away. does anyone know what the actual mile number is? isn't it any market within a certain number of miles? p.s. i'm not an ignorant syracuser who's never experienced a blackout before.

Interestingly, towns as far as Ithaca are blacked out even if they are a Sunday Ticket subscriber b/c they are considered to be part of the WTVH-5 market.

Arkady Renko Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I thought the blackout rule covered a 75-mile radius? 846274 Yeah, you very well might be right. But the rest of what I said is accurate. WTVH barely hits some small sliver of that radius--although this is a recent "discovery"--and is covered by the same blackout rules.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 7000 tickets left. I don't think seeling that many tickets will be possible in the short amount of time given to us.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I thought the blackout rule covered a 75-mile radius? 846274 Well no Bills in Albany I guess.
aussiew Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 I guess this is the only good thing about living away from Buffalo. I never miss a game.
BoondckCL Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 and in Rochester and Syracuse. Are there other places to live? 846154 Gotta throw in Burnt Hills N.Y. here. Game never gets blacked out.
Frez Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Gotta throw in Burnt Hills N.Y. here. Game never gets blacked out. 846320 Burnt Hills was defeated by a local High School team here, Indian River. Bills are never blacked out here either, Watertown NY.
TheZone78 Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Hey all, I'm 123 miles from the Stadium in Waterloo, Ontario. Does anybody know if I can get the game on Sunday NFL Ticket? I'm thinking about buying it for the rest of the season since the last 4 Bills home games probably won't sell out which would be cheaper than going to the game. Your help is appreciated.

Bills are never blacked out here either, Watertown NY. 846342 Yeah, my brother was on that team and i was at that game. They were !@#$ by the refs and they over looked Indian River. Down right disgusting showing. How's Indian River doing now?

Just Jack Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Bills are never blacked out here either, Watertown NY. 846342 When I lived with my parents in Pulaski, I'd watch Channel 7 when Channel 5 would be blacked out in Syracuse.

aussiew Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Your help is appreciated. I would recommend you call DirecTV customer service. But it may be cheaper at this point to watch the remaining games in a sports bar. Maybe more fun too!
