njsue Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 Hope its just a slight bruise. Sorry to even see him hurt. He is a great RB since thurman thomas. Get better TH. We need you.
Thailog80 Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I also hope he's okay. Im not a fan of TH or WM.... I'm a fan of both!!!!
CosmicBills Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I also hope he's okay. Im not a fan of TH or WM.... I'm a fan of both!!!! 3759 Last night he was interviewed on the postgame and said it wasn't nearly as bad as last year's rib injury. He said they were just bruised and he was a little sore but it wasn't bad at all.
IDBillzFan Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 All I've heard was results were "negative," and that's a good start.
njsue Posted August 22, 2004 Author Posted August 22, 2004 The Bills have a great duo to establish a power running game. Perhaps a 2 back set for the offense.
njsue Posted August 22, 2004 Author Posted August 22, 2004 I would keep him out for the rest of the preseason. Give the ball to Willis for the rest of preseason.
mcjeff215 Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I would keep him out for the rest of the preseason. Give the ball to Willis for the rest of preseason. 3767 Right, but I'd still start him... let him run a play and then put WM in. Anything other than that might fuel the fire.
MikeG Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 practice him with the #1 Offense and then come game time, have him sit... until the last preseason game, then only play him one series, even if he only touches the ball once that series... then start him on opening day as planned. No need for Travis to get hit anymore in preseason, he's the #1 back and will be in there with no problem come the Jax game... let Willis get used to the NFL by playing a lot in the next two preseason games, then when we need him to spell Henry, he's used to the NFL and no hesitations. I think McGahee will end up being really good, but Henry is the starting RB on this team and an injury like this will not make Henry the back up come regular season.
