SeanO Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 I am a RedSox fan.. I think you are a joke! I hate the Yankmees but I respect them. If you think the CArds pitching can be effective against the Sox or Yanks bats.. you have a lesson to learn! ST. Guest Guest Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 I'm a die hard Yankee fan and I'll cheer for Boston over St Louis because of this little punks incessant rantings.
ajzepp Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Man, and I thought it was just me..... 60621 Gantrules: Being that we are both Bills and Braves fan, and you're the only other person I've ever met that I've shared that with, I'm curious about something.....What led you to become fans of both?
Guest Guest Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Daryl Kile sucked anyways...Good thing he died or the Yanks would light up his ass.

BF_in_Indiana Posted October 7, 2004 Author Posted October 7, 2004 Yep he died. Just like Thurman Munson and that drunk Billy Martin.
SeanO Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 You sound like a intellectual individual! I never had a reason to dislike the Cards but if their fans are like you.... NOW I DO!! HAHAHAHAHAHA. 60624
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 7, 2004 Author Posted October 7, 2004 Think it needs a little work. 60636 Actually if you knew the history of your manager you would know why that's there. That was no typo.
Guest Guest Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Yep he died. Just like Thurman Munson and that drunk Billy Martin. 60637 They died winners. DK just died.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 7, 2004 Author Posted October 7, 2004 They died winners. DK just died. 60642 No, Billy just died drunk in a pickup truck.
gantrules Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Gantrules: Being that we are both Bills and Braves fan, and you're the only other person I've ever met that I've shared that with, I'm curious about something.....What led you to become fans of both? ------------------ Braves fan b/c my father is. We use to go to Shea, Cincy or Montreal and see them in the summer almost every year during the 80's and early 90's. We use to watch them on TBS almost every night. I still get to see them quite a bit, I went to spring training this year. No regular season games though....I was suppose to go see them in Detroit...but it didn't work out. Bills fan...my mom and my stepfather are Bills fans. Plus we don't live that far away. They got me in to the sport big time. They by far are marginal fans....they hardly ever watch the games now that the Bills aren't what they use to be. How about you?
Guest Guest Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 No, Billy just died drunk in a pickup truck. 60649 At least he didnt have a hair lip.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 7, 2004 Author Posted October 7, 2004 At least he didnt have a hair lip. 60660 Nope he sure didn't.
MattyT Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 BF I like how you exhibit and, in some cases, surpass every single characteristic that you hate about (most) Yankee fans. (Except for bragging about their 26 championchips of course.) You are no different than those you claim to hate. You are a closet Yankee fan stuck rooting for the wrong team. Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever. Obscurity will return for the Cards once they pack it up and go home. Enjoy your 15 minutes.

They by far are marginal fans....they hardly ever watch the games now that the Bills aren't what they use to be. How about you? 60657 That's really cool that your parents were so influential in your being a fan.....especially with your dad. Part of me wishes I had something like that, cause it has such a long tradition of being a special bond between father and son. I know exactly what you mean about watching them on TBS, too. I've been doing that since I was a kid, and even though it falls way short of how I feel when the Monday Night Football broadcast comes on, it is similar. Anyway, the Braves were the first sports team I really began to follow.....I was 8 years old and we had just moved to Atlanta, and I was just hooked. A childhood friend of mine and I were all into it, and I've loved the team ever since. I'm a huge Bills fan because I moved to Rochester in 1985 when I was 13 y.o. I developed a similar attachment to them as I did to the Braves, and even though I'm not in upstate NY any more, i still consider it "where I grew up" and I'll always be a fan of my Bills. I still remember riding the bus during 8th grade and hearing the sports guy on 96 WCMF hacking on the Bills for how bad they sucked.....having grown up largely shy, pudgy, and unpopular in school, I immediately hated this guy and began to back the Bills lol. The rest is history......what a great era of Bills football that was.
Paco Posted October 7, 2004 Posted October 7, 2004 Hey, BF...how about giving the baseball crap a rest, huh? You are ruining an otherwise intelligent message board with your childish drivel.
