Alaska Darin Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 That is a great list. I'd have a terrible time narrowing it down (with the exception of Michael Irvin, who can kiss my white Irish ass).

ofiba Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I can't even believe Ralph isn't on the semifinal list. What a joke.
daquixers_is_back Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Terrel Davis ... I usually am a straight up Buffalo Bills guy. Only Bills jerseys, merchandise ... etc. But Terrel Davis is an exception. He is currently the only player I have a jersey of who was never a Buffalo Bill (Peyton Manning might join that list soon). Just think about this. I know, I know, I know he had a short career. But that short career was AMAZING! (not counting his injury seasons), In 4 seasons he had over 6400 yards, 56 rushing touchdowns, 152 receptions, 1181 receiving yards, and 5 receiving TD's ... aka over 7500 total yards, and 61 TD's in 4 seasons. Over a 10 year career thats 16,000 rushing yards, 140 TD's, 3000 receiving yards. Unbelievable. To put that into perspective, Emmit Smith, Curtis Martin, and Thurman Thomas never had a 4 year span better.

Yeah he had some great years, but I just don't if it's good enough to put a guy in that only played 4 real years. Kurt Warner sure looked great for a 3 or 4 year period, but no way that guy gets in. Plus, I think it REALLY hurts that any Joe Blow can rush for a thousand yards in that Denver offsense. Tough call.
justnzane Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 To put that into perspective, Emmit Smith, Curtis Martin, and Thurman Thomas never had a 4 year span better. 839664[/snapback] I have to debate this one , Thurman did have a 4 year span that he matched and exceeded TD in all-purpose yardage, and got 49 TDs in this span 89-92. But the bills also had more weapons to score with IMO, so that would take some of the scores from him, especially w/ Jimbo in his prime vs. an old elway that was nowhere near as good as he was in prime
Alaska Darin Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Gayle Sayers is in and his accomplishments pale in comparison to Davis.
