You need 2 id's I believe.

 

Drivers license and another photo id should be good.

have a photo id and a birth cert. just in case, or a passport if you have one, it makes it even easier

Photo ID and Cirth Certificate. If you leave the USA after January 8, you'll need a Passport to get back in.

 

It's mid November, passports take about 6 weeks without springing for the "rush" charge. But I'm amazed at how many people still haven't applied.

I got my passport last week, took about 4 or 5 weeks to get it. Word is the longer people wait, the longer it will take to process due to the increase in demand.
