"he simply isn't mature, and that's a big reason why former Bills DB Troy Vincent broke Losman's leg at training camp in 2004." As read on TBD's front page today.

Is it just me or that's a little far fetched ? Is breaking a guy's leg the only way to get you point across ? Besides, wouldnt it be quite a task just to break the leg of NFL players with a criminal record. Now every immature player in the league needs to be seriously injured by a teammate ?

Yeah I read that this morning and thought it was the dumbest thing I have read in a while (not by a poster on this board).

TV is the president of the players association, I really doubt he is going to intentionally injure another player he represents, and a teammate

It wouldn't surprise me if he intentionally hit Losman to put him in his place, but there's no way he would have broken his leg on purpose. It was most likely a freak accident that you would never expect to happen.

Giving a guy an extra shot isn't unusual, especially the rooks. Sh-- happens.

Agreed - I never understand why people have a problem getting this. TV didn't try to break his leg - he just gave JP a little extra/push shove - which accidentally resulted in him getting injured. Some people get all bent when the discussion of 'why' follows - but there is no doubt in my mind that it was a little message to JP - that he was acting cocky/immature and a seasoned vet gave him a little shot to help adjust his attitude (with no intention at all of actually hurting him).
