R. Rich Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 those bengal defenses have been stellar under lewis 834744 Just as stellar as those Ravens' offenses have been under that offensive guru Billick.
kasper13 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 The first and only thing the Bills need to do in the 1st round is draft a QB. If the Bills are drafting and Brady Quinn is sitting there, they sure as hell better take him. Anyone who thinks the Bills biggest problem isn't at QB is just a fool. Good QB's make average OL's look great- Example #1- Tom Brady. Quinn has had two years w/ Charlie Weiss. He will be NFL ready from day one. Arizona doesn't need a QB, so the Bills need to be at least in the top 5 to get Quinn. I hope they do lose the rest of their games. What good is 5-11 or 6-10 going to do? No good at all. It's sad that it has come to this point of being of a Bills fan. Hoping and wanting them to lose so they get a good QB in the draft. Another season pissed away.
bob marley Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 dont forget WR. we need a big reciever. but we need OL first. experienced OT are better than a rookie. draft WR, DE. FA OT,DT.

seq004 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 No, by the time April roles around and a small improvement is made by the o-line the Bills brass will be convinced their ok on the o-line and draft a corner.
mike22nc Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Um, we just lost by a point to the best team in the NFL. People around here are frigging ridiculous...
ans4e64 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Troy Smith 834855 for a second there you had me..... I almost thought you were serious
BB2004 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Jo Jo Thomas 834589 That right. I'll be pulling for him to be picked by the Bills all offseason in the first round. It would be nice to have another type of Will Wolford type of player at the left tackle spot.
Dibs Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 looking at schedule we could lose them all Sun 11/19 at Houston 1:00 pm (playing better than we are) Sun 11/26 Jacksonville 1:00 pm (better than we are) Sun 12/3 San Diego 1:00 pm (prepare to get crushed like last year) Sun 12/10 at NY Jets 1:00 pm (beat us at home and will still be playing for division( Sun 12/17 Miami 1:00 pm (playing better than we are and will be pumped for the rematch) Sun 12/24 Tennessee 1:00 pm (possible win for us, call it a coin toss. however expect vince young to be better by then. can we say same for jp?) Sun 12/31 at Baltimore (if it means anything to them we're toast) 834621 What is wrong with you? We just lost to the 8-0 Colts by 1 measly point....& we beat the Packers the previous week. Yep....Houston, Tennessee & Miami are all looking far better than us.
Heels20X6 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Borat? 835217 Today, the Bills are the best teams in the United States and America! Glorious leader Levy will tell you we need help at strong safety! High Five!

Sun 12/31 at Baltimore (if it means anything to them we're toast) 834621 Jax is beat up. If I had to pick today it would be for a W. Otherwise mostly agree with you. Miami and Tenn. games could go either way. Jets, Chargers, Ravens and Texans are on a roll, and would suprise me if we won. It's not our year to make the Playoffs (again), but hopefully we'll get some good FA's and low enough pick to help us next year. The Steelers have the same record as us, and they won the SB last year....
dave mcbride Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 i hate to rain on everyone's parade, but i strongly suspect that the bills will be drafting around 12th ...

Sun 12/31 at Baltimore (if it means anything to them we're toast) 834621 Or we could go 4-3 / 3-4 Houston - its winnable Jacksonville - Depends which one shows up, they have either been really good or really bad San Diego - Most likely a loss, especially after the way they played yesterday NY Jets - The beat a good team yesterday, but Buffalo played well against them last time, could go either way Miami - Its winnable, they beat the Bears (most overrated undefeated team) and Buffalo almost beat the other undefeated team, they are not that good Tenessee - Winnable, tenessee is also not that good Baltimore - it will be a loss if Baltimore needs to win the game (but it cold go either way if the Bills try to play spoiler)

The laundry list of Bills needs gets longer and longer. We need a QB. Maybe a couple. Maybe three or four offensive linemen. A starting corner to replace Clements. A linebacker to replace Fletcher and Spikes. 2 or 3 quality wide receivers. Price sucks. And Reed is a #3 on his best day. A TE that can catch. 12 receptions and 108 yards total is a joke. A RB? Is McGahee a long term option? Will he price himself out of Buffalo? Defensive tackles. Someone who can maybe stop a running play would be nice. Tripplett is a waste of money. The Bills will be going in to this offseason with a lot of cap space and a top five draft pick. They have to get more out of it than a couple of defensive backs. Reyes and Folwer crapping the bed this year has hurt this team.
pBills Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Everyone that is 3-6 or worse, so if things stay like this we should be picking 11th or better. Buffalo Miami Cleveland Pittsburgh Houston Tennessee Oakland Washington Detroit Tampa Bay Arizona
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 3-6 or Worse Society: Buffalo Miami Cleveland Pittsburgh Houston Tennessee Oakland Washington Detroit Tampa Bay Arizona Those teams bolded I see as finishing better than the bills. I say the bills pick at 5 or 6. Which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing.
Dante Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 No, by the time April roles around and a small improvement is made by the o-line the Bills brass will be convinced their ok on the o-line and draft a corner. 834857 Yes because he was "Simply the best athlete available"
RkFast Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 The Bills better take a CB to replace Clements!
